Hopefully he has been watching Stanley and sees what he will be able to do at Arizona. Kid is that kind of talent.

My guess is that the whole world will see what Stanley does later this year...

Can we get greedy and get him and Thornton? Please?
6'7" shooting guard. Massive. MASSIVE! #3 national in Rivals, #2 in 24/7 class of 2016. #1 shooting guard in both.
Us and Kansas it appears. Will this be a quick courtship, or is he going to "enjoy the process" like Ivan Rabb?

Remember when Jeff Withey was forced by his mom to transfer to Kansas? One of the questions they asked him was:
Q: How do you like Kansas?
Jeff: Well, it's cold.
Being a Napa kid hopefully he likes warm climates and warm women, unlikethe pasty women there at KU.

97cats is never one to tease. I think we should do as he says and get to know Josh Jackson.

Yeah, Chi.
OM does Jackson look good or what? Great shooter, break-your-ankles mover off the dribble, size--------wuh! Love it! Gonna follow 97 and get to know him. Plays SG, but looks like he could almost be the rare 1-3 combo.

Long arms too. Hopefully SM can turn him into a plus defender if he isn't one already.
I don't know anything about the school he transferred to, but from what is included in this article - it seems to be pretty far from a basketball factory - which is not inconsistent with what his Mom suggested in the article Gumby linked. Anyone know what was behind the move? Seems strange...
Watching the Youtube video posted, that kid's frame and athleticism remind me an awful lot of Andrew Wiggins.

Looks like he'll be taking classes at Justin-Siena and playing for Prolific Prep, which is brand new. He's trained with the founders before. Good explainer linked. Mitty and O'Dowd are leery of losing players (as they did Ashley to Findlay). Also, mentions Rabb and Gordon.

He's a Napa kid?
He's from Michigan.
He'd make a good running mate to play beside Ferguson at KU, but isn't he rumored to never play college ball, i.e., go the Mudiay route? Anyway, KU will probably land Ferguson and one of JJ or Fox.

Interesting.
You sure about this? You'll have Smith, York, Trier, Simon and that tiny point guard back. We'll have plenty of playing time to sell with potentially Greene, Selden and Svi leaving after this year.

Seems like we've done pretty well in our head to head recruiting battles with Kansas recently. Pretty sure they wanted Tarc and Gordon.

We were a long shot for Gordon and we dodged a flop when KT chose Arizona. And you lost head to head for Oubre and Bragg (who canceled his visit to Tucson and shortly after committed to KU).

There's not a single player that you named that will play over Jackson at Arizona, also this is York's last year and what does our point guard have to do with a wing? A playing time argument for one of the best 3 players incoming players in the nation and a surefire NBA player. Yeah ok....

We landed Stanley and brought in Ryan Anderson. I don't think we lost those recruitments when we went other routes.

If Stanley over Oubre = loss, KU's last two postseasons = Final Four.
Also, Zeus is a flop who gave us more productive years than Cliff/Embiid/Diallo will give KU combined. The most recent Alexander article I saw had "cautionary tale" in the title.

The good news is that only making it to two Sweet Sixteens in the last half dozen years leaves plenty of room to hang recruiting banners at Phog.
