I didn't think so. Isn't he here? Riverside will go wherever Bug goes, so I imagine we'll have a lot more UCLA threads, and Arizona threads that become UCLA threads, in our very near future.

I wonder how many Bruin fans think he'll last as long as Howland did.
Heh.

Howland had a lot of flaws but putting players in the NBA was apparently not one of them. It's a shame recruiting just died under him

apparently it was a water main break. large parts of the campus and areas around there are flooded. (great news during a drought!)

just watching a live stream of KTLA and a fireman said that 5 buildings on campus were severely affected and the 2 most were the wooden center and pauley pavilion. they shut down sunset blvd as well. it was a 93 year old 30 inch water main that burst. is taking them a couple hours to shut off the flow since they have to divert the water to other areas before it is shut off completely. so water is still coming out. it's a big 15 foot hole in a street.

I am trying so hard to turn this into a joke about the time Steve Alford tried to keep a rape victim from coming forward, but I just can't figure out how.

well that is the heavy stuff since it's true and accurate. ucla has a bad fanbase. the end. no other smack talk is needed since it speaks for itself.

Bummer about the facilities...I know how hard it was to try to get reno done a few years ago...hopefully things move quickly this time around.
I like that Bug takes the time out to speculate about a UA recruit. Hilarious.

I had to fly out here to LA over the weekend as my father broke his hip. My parents house is about a 1/4 mile from the break and we lost water for a couple of hours.
The good news is that Sunset was empty last night heading west of Veteran.

Someone is lying...
Despite the rupture, no utility customers were without water.

Well, it aint me.
Called DWP and they acknowledged it would be out in the surrounding areas.
Also, called a couple of neighbors and they said their water wasn't working.
