I have not had the pleasure of seeing either one of these teams this year. Will be watching tonight though.

Wichita St will win IMO. #1 defense efficiency will be to much. Vandy can shoot the 3 though and should own the boards but I think WSU tourney experience will be to much

What goes into that matrix? Is strength of schedule a factor?

Yep, that backcourt is good, really good
Think the efficiency is how many points you give up per 100 posessions. So if you played a schedule full of weak offenses it could be misleading. Will find out tonight

Doesn't matter to me. If the Cats can't beat WSU or Vandy, they don't deserve to move forward. Either is not nearly as good as the others they could face down the road.

Very tough minded kids. Dictating the tempo and effort of the shockers right now. Vandy having trouble getting it inside where they have a huge advantage

Watching this game, makes me want to give the selection committee a big fuck you for our seeding. Tough match up for the CATS with either one of these teams.

Perhaps I'm missing something with these two teams or perhaps they're both just amazing at neutralizing the other team and making them look bad, but I am not seeing much here from these two. It seems like a lot of pretty marginal basketball.

Polar opposites. Vandy is struggling to score because WSU defense is good. WSU just struggles on offense

I'm not really impressed with either team. I'm hoping Vandy wins as I'd rather go against their bigs than deal with WSU's guards. I don't think Vandy's guards are that athletic and would be a good match-up for our guards, and I think our bigs would dominate theirs.

Not impressed? WSU guards have dictated this whole game. They hit 6 3's in the second half of our game and we will struggle. They know how to win in the tourney. Guess we will find our how tough we are mentally Thursday

That can be said about any team. The #32 team offensive team will struggle to put up 55 in this one

I didnt see them play much zone all year. Why would they start with us? You dont have the number one defense if you play a zone.

The remind me of the SO Miss type teams that gave the CATS fits back in the 90s.

Dont call us idiots and then suggest the number 1 rated defensive team is going to change what they do and bust out with a 2-3 zone. Vandy is a 19-13 team, from the SEC, who played like crap and didnt finish. Credit to WSUs defense, but some of that falls on Vanderbuilt.

We should pound them on the glass but teams that have experience, have great guard play and can defend are at,a premium in the tourney
