"In" meaning the NCAA's? I'm not sure 1 win against a lowly OSU team in the Pac tournament will do it. Lunardi has them as the first four out right now.

At least beating the Trojans if they survive to the quarters tonight I would think. Getting to the finals should probably do it for sure depending how other teams fare.

We're undefeated in these mini-tournaments under Lloyd (Roman Main Event, Pac-12 Tournament, Maui Invitational). I'm picking us to win this one, too.

Well, they beat us shooting lights out. Let's see what CTL has cooked up for them this time.

Pelle, Kriisa, Ramey and Henderson will need to have their big boy defensive shoes on tonight.

Being on the bubble means not only does ASu have to win a few games, they need to hope other bubble teams lose. And no non-bubble team steals an auto bid. I don't think beating Oregon St. is enough. Beat SC and ASu can feel a little more comfortable.

If we just stick it out with Washington/Oregon we might just get dual membership in the B1G & SEC!!

Well UNC and UofM helped them out yesterday.

That's enough help for one weekend, we should not feel obligated to pitch in.

Personally I think the scum is an NCAA team and I hope they get in along with USC (we do t need another overrated B1G team).

That said Si hope we pound this jokers. I hope we crush them and Hurley gets run and looks like the idiot he is

Not fast enough. It would be the cherry on top of the Sundae to see Hurley get "hurled" out of the game.

I was at the game last night.....the team looked seriously gassed at the end. I have to question not going 8/9 deep. With KerrK unable
to shoot we may effectively only have 6 players tonight. CTL needs to go deeper in the bench. Even if we get past the scum we won't have any bodies left for the Finals.

With Kerr's shoulder being hurt, I wonder if Adama will get a few minutes tonight to give the other guards a breather?

Any news on the extend of Kerr's shoulder injury? He can still dribble and pass, but can he lift his arm up to shoot? Been looking for an updated report, but only see it was a contusion.

While we always want to beat ASu, this game has a lot more meaning to them than to us. Win and ASu is off the bubble. I think they are just inside now, but not safe. If Oregon goes on to win the tournament, for example, the PAC won't get 5 teams in, and if we beat ASu, I think they are the odd team out. For us, on the other hand, we're pretty locked into a 2 seed, win or lose.

I think Bal needs some minutes, especially if Kerr can't shoot. We know Bal likes the rims in Vegas, and it's difficult playing with a guy on the court who teams know won't shoot at all for extended minutes.

azcat49 wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 7:15 am Personally I think the scum is an NCAA team...
Before the tournament started I would say ASU (20-11) was at about a 10-15% chance of getting in. Beating Oregon State (21-11) put them at 20-25%. Beating USC last night, IMO, raises their odds to 50-60%. That gives them two recent Quad 1 wins along with a more than high enough win count (22-11).

Of course they can't control how they might or might not be kept out by the committee potentially ranking the Sun Devils behind enough other bubble teams - Penn St (20-12), UNC (20-13), Wake Forest (19-14), West Virginia (19-14), Providence (21-11), Utah State (25-7), Boise St (24-8), Auburn (20-12), Mississippi St (21-11), and Arkansas (20-12).

We are getting like 4" of snow today.

Better pack your muck boots, you can buy them at you greater LA area FleetFarm or Tractor Supply store.

Stop by when you are in the area Bug. You can stay for a few days without me having to clear it with my wife first, she's pretty cool.

It would be, but the PAC requires advance notice to leave. Forgot the time frame, but could have been by August 1.

I think the long plane ride excuse is overblown. How long does it take to get from Tucson to The Palouse?

Once a year to Pullman / Seattle.

How many games per year in Michigan/Ohio/Nebraska/Wisconsin/Minnesota/...?
