Texas Simple Assault – Laws & Penalties

Those 2 kids need to be suspended for the rest of the season and someone needs to dig a little as to what involvement the coaches had in this. If they are found to be inbolved, they need to be terminated.

John Jay High is in a rough area of San Antonion, Marble Falls is rural and covers some suburbs of Austion and some stick hicks and ranchers as well. Not really a surprise there was some tension there, but holy hell what a stupid thing for kids to do.

I expected the race card to be played, but blaming a coach is a twist I didn't see coming. I don't buy either story. These punks are in full CYA mode now that they're facing serious trouble. No coach is going to risk his career over a game. Especially a meaningless non-district game like this one was. This would be the equivalent of RR giving orders to attack a ref for home cooking calls while playing Nevada.

Only one of them was ejected from the game. Apparently the other was called for a personal foul for hitting the opposing qb on the last play of the game after he took a knee in the victory formation. I wonder what his excuse for that is? Guess he hasn't figured out a way to blame someone else for that one yet.

Young people in trouble passing the buck or deflecting the criticism is hardly new. In this case I find it hard to believe the coaches didn't know what was going on and I find it hard to believe that if racial slurs were made that no other player or players other than those 2 heard them

I find it hard to believe this guy said racist things although I know he could have. Even if he did though no way was what these kids and coach did appropriate or acceptable. I find it hard to believe since no one on the other team has said anything and I doubt this was the first time this guy said something after years of being an official. Chip Kelly racist? I don't think so but we see what happened there. If the guy didn't say those things he can be scared for life.
