Stupid question but I am watching the first ever game of ACU Firestorm christen football team. Wouldn't they are be freshmen? I know it's a stupid question. I guess they have transfers!

I believe in the case of UTSA, the first year had no games, only practice. So by the time they played a game they had two full classes, freshman and redshirt-freshman. That is why UTSA has an absurd number of seniors this year.
