Wow if Michigan were to play Arizona or Oregon .....
It would be beyond humiliating.
These teams would win at least 63-7.

Yeah, I'm happy for him, i had a feeling he would succeed at AZ, just not this fast...
Really odd how bad of a karma, UM football is having...

Re: Michigan Football
After reading a lot of Michigan fan comment on there site. There feeling pretty sorry for letting RR go after three year.
Half of them are just still in disbelief on how he did so bad there and doing good job at here. Some positive and some negative comment. but hey they got what want it a Michigan Man at the helm.

My dad sent me this:
http://gamedayr.com/lifestyle/memes-lif ... an-120539/
Until RR beats ASU, then Michigan will have something to complain about. I grew up in MI, and tOSU game was by far the biggest game of the year. MSU was not competitive back then, unlike now so the UM/MSU game really didn't matter.
Bo v. Woody, now that was football. No other bowl games either for Big 10 teams except the Rose Bowl, so it was for all the marbles.
Unlike now, where a 50% record will guarantee you a bowl game.

Re: Michigan Football
Thanks, CST. Excellent read. I absolutely *hate* going to NFL games due to the interminable TV time outs. Much prefer watching a game in a sports bar. College games used to be better, but it's been a decade since I've been to one, and they've gone wholly to the TV model since, I suppose.

Re: Michigan Football
Went to the Michigan rivals site and looked at their current list of football commitments. Holy crap! The number of stars those guys have looks like us in basketball! Imagine if RR and Co. had that level of talent? I mean, I love our players but, wow! I guess keep performing on the field and the elite recruits will follow.

Re: Michigan Football
Really good article. I don't pay much attention to what universities outside of the Pac do, so I was surprised at the increasing number of athletic directors who are just businessmen. That's a very sad trend that could end up destroying college athletics. Makes me appreciate Byrne even more.

Looks like the students are rallying to get the AD fired. Someone fire up the Greg Byrne to Michigan rumor thread.
Re: Michigan Football
You know what funny, There haven't been any Michigan Article that haven't said nothing about RR and Arizona being Rank 10 in AP that RR is rank while Brady Hoke is not.

Re: Michigan Football
Well I guess Michigan Fan are going to talk a lot smack on how we lost this game and going to talking a lot of shit about RR choking this game in which he didn't choke this game. There were a lot of mistake in this game on offense and defense and special team..

All of Dave Brandon's emails are manually deleted from his university email once they are about one month old.
Doesn't mean they aren't archived which they are.

Oh, the bitter, bitter tears.
Coach A:
Y1 - 3-9
Y2 - 5-7
Y3 - 7-5
Coach B
Y1 - 11-2
Y2 - 8-5
Y3 - 7-6
Y4 - 5-7
Remember when Livengood gave Mike Stoops an extension after going 3-8, then 3-8?

Re: Michigan Football
Have you noticed that the media has moved on from the Michigan storyline when it comes to RR? Just another step down the ladder for the Wolverines to being practically invisible in the landscape of college football. No one cares how bad they fucked up in firing RichRod.

So RR gets coach of the year on the same day that the coach who replaced him is fired. The timing of that is just too perfect. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL at Michigan

Re: Michigan Football
What they need to find is a very good coach who got totally shafted by his previous school. Perhaps firing him after just a few years even though the team seems to be turning around with his own guys. Then, although he is as great a coach as ever, now he will have a huge chip on his shoulder to prove to everyone, particularly the clowns who let him go, that they made a HUGE mistake! If you can somehow find a great coach like that, and snatch him up before anyone else does, and then give him the support and freedom he needs to succeed, well ... I think you've found the formula for a winner! Good luck, Michigan.
