TCU not happy with their football game airing on CW.

Nexstar really destroying the CW. Was it Larry Scott or George K who were in discussions with them?

The CW Television Network is a television channel in the United States launched on September 18, 2006. CW is currently the 22nd most popular channel on TV, watched by a total number of 334,000 people (up +18% from yesterday) during primetime, as of the average daily audience measurement on September 17, 2024.

Yes, CW's broadcasts have been minor gems.

TCU ended up giving up 66 pts to SMU and losing.

Houston looking like the Big 12's worst, shut out by an average Cincinnati 34-0.

Shit.

Why didn’t we see this KSU team last week?

Turning the ball over like it’s going out of style and down by 11.

Or there’s a difference between playing at home vs on the road with a young QB.

Not sure that Kansas/UA could fill a NFL stadium but this is pretty cool for them.

Yeah, they're betting their stadium renovation will be a game-changer for them. So, home games Saturdays in Arrowhead Stadium the rest of the season.

Welp, there goes Ollie Gordon with a knee injury. Time to sit out the season and prep for the draft before Gundy and Bowman get him killed.

Wonder how much his $1M NIL is influencing his playing time. Some donor is putting up the bucks and wants results.

From the first drive it was painfully obvious he should not be playing. Can't run cause of his knee in the first place, then gets his ankle tweaked on the 2nd play of the game. Can't throw more than 8 yards.

Not sure what's going on with Whittingham but he's just been an awful coach this season.

He said multiple times after the game that Ward “isn’t 100%”.

Then why do you have him out there? Is the booster who ponied up his NIL demanding some return on investment?

I didn’t see the game but it reinforces my opinion that when you have a team jockeying for position for the playoffs, that with the money involved, that conference will protect that team at all costs (see Miami Florida)

Well for starters I don’t watch the NBA so the only time I go there is for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament.

Selling off games from the mother ship just sounds like being downgraded. I have not see Fox selling off the B1G games or ABC selling of SEC games. If it’s more revenue per school then great. Otherwise it just seems a bit of a demotion to me

Well Fox and ABC have fixed time slots for games pretty much and only took on games to fill those. ESPN basically has every other game and turns out that's way too many. Makes sense to ship some off to another network if possible.

For the record I'd rather have our games off ESPN+ because all their streams keep having issues.
