ASU wins 24-17 at #15 Cal. Their QB must've been invited since Devon Modster played most of the game and was awful. Couldn't convert downs and ASU came back from 17-14 In the mid 4th.

As someone who originally mocked Herm's hire, I'll eat some crow on AZSt -

As big as the win over Michigan State was, beating ranked Cal will give 'em a lot more momentum going into the rest of the season. Who else can say they have two road wins over ranked teams? Auburn?

Anyway, the whole team was on display last night, JD used both his legs and arm with success against Wilcox's defense, the OL played well, Eno gained yards against a front seven dead set on stopping him, and all in all showed plenty of mental toughness in weathering a back and forth 4th quarter.

They look like a very competent program and are headed back to the Top 25

Every time I see him play I have the same thought.

At the time though, it just stung to again be the “safety school”. I want us to be a destination for top tier recruits. Not an afterthought.

Just flipped over. Apparently Kelly went for it on 4th and 1 on his own 30. Maybe he has CTE?

Also, all the talk would be the potential top ten match up between Oregon and Washington the week after.

Oregon easily beats Colorado 45-3. That's the one game left on the schedule I don't think we really have a chance in.

It Utah hadn't turned it over twice inside the ASU 20 yard line this game could be michmuch uglier for ASU.

Enjoying watching the Oregon/USC game. Both teams are playing dirty, and I don't like either team, but it has a lot of implications, especially for USC. If Oregon wins you can hand the south to Utah, at least if you look at the schedule. Utah's only loss was at USC and they deserve to play for the championship.

Helton may very well be coaching his last game. The gift wrapped 6 he gave the ducks before the half most likely sealed his fate. Reggie Bush was visibly disgusted during the halftime show, he was pissed!

I wanted an ugly Utah win, because I'm confident they would be leap-frogged by the Big-12 champion in that scenario. But that was before they looked like dog shit this whole half lol

This Utah performance is Arizona-esque. Back when we had a program that could put themselves into position to blow a game that matters.

I thought Iowa would win, but I wasn't expecting that. Holy shit, go Hawks!

I'm still mad they didn't run a 4th QB sneak to punch the ball in on that one series, though.

The Pac-12 is bad, which is sad, because it doesn't seem like too long ago that it was good. Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio State would all have gone undefeated in this year's Pac-12, and Iowa and Minnesota probably would have won the conference without too much trouble. The Pac-12 has a much better recruiting base than any of those schools. It's pretty pathetic.

Larry Scott is awful.
