Oregon was a 10 point favorite for some dumb reason.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Good for Udub. Every pundit in America had Oregon in the playoffs after beating Washington.

Just shows that, even in the end, no one paid attention to this conference. If the game was AT Oregon I could maybe see it, but a neutral site? I just didn't see Washington being blown out with so much on the line.

I am so glad I'll never have to listen to that stupid USC fight song ever again.

It's actually funny that after two straight years of the LA media pre-season hyping both USC and UCLA as national title contenders, when they finished up with a combined 17 losses over those years between them, suddenly beating 6-loss Boise St in LA in front of 32K and beating 4-loss Louisville in Petco Park in front of 35K are now considered fine accomplishments. As for the USC band, they may need windshield wipers on their sunglasses for the snow and freezing rain at November road games. I'd like to hope that Big Ten ADs would have the guts Greg Byrne showed and shove them up to the farthest corner of the upper deck in every one of their stadia.

Did they lose a lot of players due to the Pac situation?
