Alosi, then, according to witnesses, put up his hand in a non-threatening way, and instructed Combs to get his father out of the office. Diddy then walked into Alosi's hand, and told Alosi not to put his hands on him.

In the next moment, according to many on the scene, Diddy attacked Alosi, until interns and other personnel pulled off Diddy. The celebrity broke free again at one point and struck Alosi. The personnel were then successful in getting Diddy out of the office and into the weight room, where Diddy picked up a kettlebell, which is a type of barbell, and then swung in at one of the interns.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA's Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell [a weighted piece of exercise equipment, similar to a dumbbell]. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.

Apparently the S&C coached attacked Diddy and his son.....

Sean "Diddy" Combs' company says the hip-hop mogul was defending himself in an incident at the University of California, Los Angeles, that led to his arrest. Combs Enterprises says in a statement to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Combs was trying to protect himself and his son.

Why is that taking the high road?
Junior Combs pretty much has to leave the team at this point, doesn't he. You can't be the kid that has his dad fighting (literally) his battles for him b/c he got talked harshly to, can you. That is not going to fly with the other players I would not imagine.

Weird story. He was 80% going to be the starter for Texas this year and leaves due to "broken promises" by the staff. Now, he is not going to UCLA due to "broken promises" by the staff. Kid is an Academic All-American that graduated in 3 years. He was voted hardest worker on his team by his peers. It just feels like something is missing. By all accounts, he is the perfect young man to have in your program.

I would love to hear what the UCLA mods are saying about this.
