They are only allowing teams with 5 wins to sub in right now, so we're out.

When that fails, it will be down to teams with 4 wins, so we're out.
When that fails, it will be down to teams with 3 wins, so we're out.
When that fails, it will be down to teams with 2 wins, so we're out.

Aren't most players on non-bowl teams already home? Can't think of a single FBS program that has a majority of local players. With all the flight cancelations due to Covid can't imagine too many teams can field a full travelling size team.

Along with those players who do make it back just came back from family gatherings with the possibility of Covid events like 97 just went through.

Yup. The whole position group is out. Not sure if that is necessarily a reason to, but I am assuming the healthy guys left tested positive and the team is basically exposed.

The team left on the 23rd I think, which at face value, seems odd (as was the Christmas day visit to Seaworld), but sending players home for Christmas probably was a worse alternative. Was hoping to see DTR one last time.

Wisconsin was too generous. They should have just run the ball in for a TD during the last 2:30 of the game. Instead it took nearly 10 minutes for them to use all three timeouts an almost runout the clock. It worked though…

Boring finish.
