If the Yankees don’t come back, both teams will have deserved their outcome.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Congrats to the Dodgers. They were indisputably the better team.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Champions!!!!!!!!!!!
Robert’s, who gets a lot of grief in LA, redeemed himself with masterful coaching this year with a ton of injuries. All the buttons he pushed worked in the playoffs and WS.
Tonight they took advantage of Yankee mistakes, which good teams do. And they proved they know how to win in a lot of ways.
Freeman will get the MVP deservedly, but hats off to Treinen who was crap in Game 3 and big balls Buehler who came in to close the game in the 9th to win a championship.
So happy for this team which has been good for many years but lacked the toughness to win multiple championships. That changed tonight.

Robert's managed the hell out of that pitching staff. He deserved a lot of credit this year!EastCoastCat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:09 pm Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Champions!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought Mark Prior turned out to be a heck of a pitching coach. Two WS championships in 4 years is very impressive and as much as I like Roberts, I really think Prior has emerged as a top line pitching coach

What an amazing run. I was able to go to game 2 of the World Series and it was one of the loudest experiences I have ever been too. My dad's phone registered it as 111 decibels in Dodger Stadium after Teo's homerun and when Freddie went back to back.
Sorry Chi, I know Yankee fans have been waiting a bit for a title.
