At the Dbacks-Marlins game in Miami for my son's 21st birthday.

Can't be more than a couple thousand people here. :)

Greinke on the bump, hoping for W.

Maybe that old arm is just tired. I'd let Bradley close the next 3 games and let Rodney get some rest.

Arugably the worst loss of the season occurred last night.

Blew a 4-0 lead in the last 3 innings and left a lot of runners on the bases against a terrible SF team

Coming alive again. So you are saying there's a chance..

Interesting race shaping up for MVP. Probably 5 guys that could win it. What does Goldy or the Dbacks have to do in order for him to finally get recognized?

Current NL Ranks for Goldy:
• 5th in NL in BA (.318)
• 4th in NL in HR (33)
• 3rd in NL in RBI (107)
• 3rd in NL in R (99)
• 3rd in NL in BB (85)
• 5th in NL in SB (17)
• 5th in NL in SLG (.604)
• 4th in NL in OPS (1.032)

A month ago I think he easily wins it because the Dodgers are going to cancel each other out. He kills the dodgers every time. Stanton might have just crushed his chances.

First team to sweep the Dodgers this season.

Might be the first team to also play our 4, 5, and 6th starter :)
But ya, you guys really jumped out early against us. Really hoping this will end that 117 win talk behind us

Miami is a big long shot to make the playoffs. Goldys overall numbers are better except for dingers. Rbi comparable. I'd say Harper has a better shot in winning it unless Miami wins 25 games in Sept and takes a wild card with Stanton leading the way.

Fingers crossed Goldy's elbow issue is minor and he won't be out long, otherwise this conversation is all for naught in regards to his chances.

Are the Dbacks hot or what. Martinez goes for 4 dingers tonight. 13-0 win over the dodgers. Just incredible. They havn't trailed in like 78 innings

Dodgers lost 13 to 0 and J.D. Martinez hit four home runs and Rich Hill had a quality start.

Just heard on the radio that Arizona is the only team with a World Series title, perfect game, no hitter, and 4 home run game by a single player.

The stat was only team with a WS, perfect game, 4HR game, and 20K game in 9 innings (3 out of 4 due to the Big Unit haha).

Kershaw got pounded last night too, crazy how bad the Dodgers are right now in all facets. Hopefully the snakes can stay hot starting again tonight!

The Nationals are only 6 games vack of the dodgers. At this point, the cubs look a lot more attractive

As if we didn't need another reason to hate that second wild card format... I'm going to be super pissed if the Dbacks had the season they had and dont have a shot at a title because they lost a one-game playoff.

Starters?

Game 1: Kershaw vs Walker
Game 2: Hill vs Ray
Game 3: Darvish vs Greinke
Game 4: Wood vs Godley*
Game 5: Kershaw vs Ray*
*if necessary

Maybe flip Godley and Walker?

That would be unusual for him as he's never liked routine change before, but I suppose he could. Even when he should have won the Cy Young for the dodgers, we had to go Kershaw first because Greinke wouldn't pitch on short rest. Plus Ray has dominated the dodgers this year. You want him going twice vs us
