Lots of offense so far but the bullpen is shaky.

No other contenders in their division. They have the whole season to shore that up while other teams in real divisions will fight till the end

3 straight walk-off HR's by 3 different rookies which has never been done before in MLB history. Not sure if that record will ever be touched.
If they can tighten up the bullpen somehow this should be the year. The starting pitching and lineup in unmatched.

I think it hadn’t been done by even two rookies in a row before.
Dodgers look like they are the class of the NL again.

Dodger fans are certainly getting their money's worth this year - forcing them not to leave early in fact. Lol
2 nights ago they come from behind with a walk-off win with 5 straight walks with 2 outs in the ninth. Last night they tie it in the ninth and Bellinger hits a walk off HR in the 10th to set a Dodger record for the most HR's before the all-star break.
It is certainly a magical season so far for The Blue Crew.

This team is living on the edge but the win last night scoring 7 runs with 2 outs & 2 strikes is typical for the kind of season the Dodgers are having.
But it doesn't get any easier. Scherzer today and Strasburg if there is a Game 5.

Sometimes being good and being lucky are the same thing.

As an old Yankee great (which you should know) Lefty Gomez once said "I'd rather be lucky than good".
My Dad used to say that to me all of the time but never understood it.
Anyway, I'd rather be good with some luck on my side. See also Rams NFC Championship game no interference call.

So what is the score? My phone has said it's the 8th inning ties 3-3 for like 40 minutes

Kershaw can't be on the mound in a playoff game past the 6th, even in relief. Pretty sure that is coming knowledge, Dave.

3-3 headed to the bottom of the 9th. Kershaw came in the 8th and gave up two straight home runs on two consecutive pitches

Holy crap. Nats grand slam top of the tenth.
Let’s see if the Dodgers have any of that magic left to come back from a four run deficit.

The Buffalo Bills of baseball.
I was thinking they are like the Atlanta Braves of the 90s. Except Atlanta did win one World Series.

Did Kershaw really need to pitch the 8th inning? They don’t have a guy who is used to that role and could have pitched?

Nope. It was a terrible decision and Roberts should have been fired over it.
But the MVP not registering an RBI and the young guys being awful is the real story

Well, at least I don't have to see them lose 3 WS in a row which I guess is a blessing.
Besides the stupid Kershaw move the bats were way too quiet all series - too many strikeouts yet again in the post-season.
Kendrick with his 3 errors during the series turned from goat to hero too. Love how baseball is the game of redemption.
