Forget the Sumlin first year factor. We are just devoid of the necessary talent to compete at a serious level.

In a just world, the DC would be sent home at half time. Maybe that would get the attention of the players. Obvious, looking at how they went to the sideline, they really don’t care that they let a team worse than Centennial score on them. Sumlin must look for a new DC. There is not one aspect of the defense that is acceptable for a power 5 school. Arizona really doesn’t stop anyone, even a bad fcs school.

The defense issue is not strictly a talent issue. While those players won’t be a top 20 defense, there is no reason not to be a top 100 in defense.....

I've revised my prediction from 8-4 to 6-6 after BYU to 3-9 after Houston...now I think we may be a like 1-11 team. Might be one of the worst teams in school history.
