Silly penalties, missed chip shot field goals, and best players not showing up. This is a recipe for disaster.

This has been painful. The whole team looks disjointed except for the running backs. Offensive line is not doing anything to help win this game.

Last week I was throwing fits all first half about the defense giving up a ton of yards to New Mexico. This week it's the offense I'm screaming at. NAU is moving up two LBs next to their DEs for a total of six players on the LOS, and is wreaking havoc in the backfield.

After seven seasons coaching San Jose St, I don't doubt Brennan knows the role of Head Coach. But when he was hired my reservations of him are what I'm seeing play out on the field tonight - uninspired performances, drop in intensity, and going through the motions.

I understand we keep running an extremely vanilla offense, but does that mean it's illegal to run slants or something?

Why are there offensive linemen just not blocking anyone while there are defenders bending Fifita in half? Shift over and block someone!

I don't think we are running a vanilla offense. Our QB can't get any time and for some reason he is just not making quick decisions.

I guess we didn't run a vanilla offense in our first 2 games last year, and basically every year before that. Along with most teams playing FCS schools.
