OK, what sort of offensive adjustments do we make? Tate hasn't been able to run the ball. He just threw a pick, and his deep ball was almost picked. Slants and "fly sweeps" that count as passes?

Two straight holding penalties on pass attempts pushed them back. They were trying.

I think we need to run more double TE sets and play action off that. It looks like we,are running spread to see if Tate can slash them but they are being very disciplined gap wise.

Need to score on this first possession and then get off the field on third down defensively

That first half magnified our personnel weaknesses:

1) No DL that can get off a block other than Boles
2) No speed at WR

We don't have any Big, Downfield receivers. We certainly don't have anyone who is consistently able to
get some separation. RRod really needs to do whatever it takes during the offseason to find a Cayleb Jones
type receive for Tate to throw to. It would be a waste/shame to have a talent like Tate with nobody to throw to.

A couple of 300 lb DL's wouldn't hurt either.

It's like when the USMNT got bounced in WCQ. Everyone but the coach could see the obvious problems. Rushing 3, having 3-4 DL, 6 in the box, is not working.

Did it work for OrSt last week against us? No? Oh, that's right, because we had 1 and 2 TE sets. Just like Oregon is doing to us right now. And for some fucking reason Amey is not seeing the obvious. It's incredibly frustrating.
