The 3rd down play calling this game is almost as questionable as RichRod's ability to recruit defensive athletes.

The only line in the sand right now is we're not LSU, or Jameis Winston, or Ray Rice.

Why aren't we running any sweeps? Why does Anu seemed to be locked into one receiver?

I know. Why not, we can run with wilson. Get the speed guys on the outside.

Look another wide open receiver.

Whats the point of a 3-3-5? to stop the run?

Our D Line can't get pressure and our secondary is pure shit. Haven't hear Scooby's name all night.

Yup, just doesn't work at a high level, especially in this conference. Can't stop the run or the pass

I'm officially throwing my hat in the "3-3-5 has to go" crowd. It has not done what it is suppose to do these past three years. In fact these guys in the secondary (outside of McCall) have been in it for three years, and have shown no improvement. Tevis can't pass cover. Parks can't concentrate. Grandon has no vision or speed.

I don't understand the infatuation with always running into the middle. I really don't.

Oh, and Anu has been doing that a lot. Cal's just better at making him pay for it by attacking the WR's quickly.

People: it's not the 3-3-5, it's the piss poor athletes they have running it. 3 years in and we should have athletes who can match other Pac teams and we do not. RichRod cannot recruit and his ability to coach up players is limited to the other side of the ball. Can't keep seeing a class full of three star "athletes" and expect to compete in the Pac. We just can't.

Have to think that having no pressure on the qb doesn't help at all, all day to throw which is pretty much a prevent defense.
