It takes Dawkins a little longer to hit top speed than Tate, but he made it to the end zone. Hopefully his "brutal" first few possessions are behind him.

It was too early to do this. Now if the Cats score, they are only up by 2 and can lose the game with a FG. It's probably 6 of one half dozen of another. Besides I wouldn't want to rely on our kicking game.

Can't blame RR for Tate getting hurt. Don't but that. Tate obviously nursing an injury the past few games, any random run could have knocked him out.
The horrendous play calling at the end of the first half, the poor play on special teams, and the general sense that there is no depth on the roster.. all that on RR.

The horrendous play calling DID contribute to getting Tate hurt. If the cats played their normal offense and the half ended in a hail mary pass so be it. But if he didn't play to lose, odds are they would have been close enough for a FG attempt rather than a hail mary exposing Tate to a big hit.

Yep. Without Tate were probably a 4 win team this year, maybe. And next year we'd be a 3-4 win team without Tate. With him we may win 7 again.
