Yes, we played a sub-par game, and survived self-administered shots-to-the-foot and egregiously bad referee calls to win by “playing with poise” at money time…

… we are a good team, and we know it!

This had such a feel of a Sunday NFL game. Back and fourth all game long. Then we get the ball last and manage a winning drive with a FG at the end. Man do we own the fourth quarters which is a credit to the whole team and coaches.

7-3 mofo’s. It feels great doesn’t it. What a last 24 hours

We are good enough to beat Utah. If we play well, we win. If we play like today, we lose by more than one score.

Just a note for the CFP playoffs. Getting into the top 12 will be difficult but with Utah and Tennessee losing right now and with Okie St losing big, we could move to potentially #16.

Missouri, LSU and Oklahoma would be in front of us but if we could win out we could really put some pressure for that #12 spot which is occupied by Oregon St who still has to play Oregon

I thought that starts next year?

It is only 4 for the playoffs but the top 12 get the NY’s bowls with the bigger payouts.

Getting in the top 12 is the goal for sure in my mind. We are going to be close if we win out

You started your comment with “CFP” so that’s why I was confused.

Yeah if we win out and end up 3rd in the Pac we should get a pretty decent bowl.

Sure seems like a LONG time since the Cats could play a sub-par game and come out with a win on the road. I knew this team was going to be improving this season but really figured with their schedule, the record probably wouldn't. Quite frankly, I am pretty stunned at how fast Fisch is turning around the program.

And to think we could pretty easily have one or two more wins.
