7-3 at the half. Cats lead
um.
yeah.
that half didn't go anywhere near how I thought it would.

It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
Re: Game 8, at UCLA
Well that could've been a lot worse. Hopefully the offense makes some nice 2nd half adjustments.
Hope they fix the clock during halftime. It's weird not being able to see the clock.

If Anu doesn't even know where the hell the ball is going to go when he throws it, how can you trust him?Merkin wrote:3 straight running plays off tackle?

(the one beautiful TD throw aside, obviously)

Someone better get the proverbial ass chewing at half time.
I mean I am not complaining but it must suck for good ugly girls.

Arizona: The only football team in America to lose a game to itself. That's what is happening right now to this inexcusably incompetent offense.

Re: Game 8, at UCLA
Well, Myles Jack was the difference in last years game and thus far he is the difference in this game thanks to 2 stupid penalties which gifted us a touchdown.
We are being thoroughly dominated on both LOS and are ahead only because of the plethora of stupid ucla penalties. If the bruins clean up their undisciplined play in the 2nd half we are toast. Right now the bruins remind me of a Dennis Erickson coached team.
UCLA is playing the same defense that asu has used to beat us the past two years. Line up 4,5,6 on the line of scrimmage, man up on the WR's and go after the QB. The way to beat this is for Anu to step up in the pocket and hit a hot receiver (like TTech did against asu last year in their bowl game). Anu has to start throwing downfield.

Re: Game 8, at UCLA
UCLA penalty yards: 98
UA total yards: 103
Should have taken that holding call
UCLA has more than doubled the UA's rushing and passing yards

Making a nice statement? This is not making a nice statement ESPN, though I'll take the compliment.
