We need to restructure the RAP point system to reward bad play. It'll work better that way.

Giving up 24 points in the 1Q?

CFB needs a mercy rule like softball has.

24 points given up in the 1st quarter alone...........will RRod stubbornly stick with the 3 man front with 8 men 5 yards off the ball the whole game????

So basically Yates has no answer again with personal on his defense still. And it 24 to 0 still in first quarter.

There is a mercy rule as long as the 2 coaches agree to it.

So we're on pace to lose this game by around a hundred points.

Statistics say that won't happen.

But let's say we lose this game by 50+ points. Assuming the rest of our games generally go like this one goes (massive early blowout losses), does RR get fired this year?

They should:

CLEMSON — With fifth-ranked Clemson leading S.C. State 45-0 at halftime of Saturday’s game, the team’s head coaches decided on shortened quarters in the second half.

Dabo Swinney and Buddy Pough agreed to start the clock at 12 minutes for the third and fourth quarters, rather than the regular 15 minutes for college games.

“The refs came to me right before the half, and just said, ‘would I be OK with shortening the game if South Carolina State wanted to do it?’ I said it would be fine with me,” Swinney said.

Said Pough, “I was fine with it. I said yes.”

Clemson won the game 59-0. Its previous meeting with S.C. State was a 73-7 win in 2014.
