This announcer changed it up and said it made it tough on our offensive coordinator. Haha.

Oh, on us? LOL. I'm only half paying attention and thought they were talking about our opponent.

We do seem to love making everything more difficult than it should be.

Watching on TV it looks like a high school team playing a college team. The Utes have vastly better personnel on both lines. This is all about talent and very little to do with coaching.

The Utes have been successful with a strategy of recruiting Poly lineman and hitting the JUCO's hard each year. To me this is what AZ needs....a strategy to consistently recruit. The lack of consistent recruiting has been an institutional problem with UA football for decades..........regardless of who the coach is.
They were talking about this (Polynesians) on pregame radio.
They did say the Sumlin had some good JUCOs coming in.

Remember when we were Utah. Hard running, physical defense and both lines beat you up. Field position and great execution. Well we chased that guy off

so, i'm wondering, why did we start Gunnell?

we played him for 3 possessions and haven't gone back.

this game isn't within reach.

was it just to punish/insult Tate?

Not sure what the play call was. The other wide receivers released down the field so no one was blocking

gotta love how even when we do something right (an interception in the endzone) we have to offset it with doing something wrong (trying to run it out and getting tackled at the 3)

and then a good punt.....but we give up a huge return
