We are going to get run out of the building. Kids know RR is a hokie and they quit last week. This one is going to get ugly

Is that definitively what happened? It makes sense; otherwise it's pretty hard to explain 49-3 to a team that had formerly been 1-3 in conference before our game.

Without having any info, I fully believe that has happened.
Too much soft data pointing in the same direction to think otherwise. Apathic game, apathetic rr post game interviews.
I think RR locked this up on company time well before the UW game.

I watch every single UA FB and BB game pretty much start to finish, even last week.
But if the players quit v. USC like they did v. UDub, I might just have to stop watching UA FB. And that will go triple for the fair weather fans.
If RR is a Hokie, then he should just move on. Bring back Dick Tomey (yes I know he moved to FL) just to instill a little pride in the team, esp the defense.

Theoretically there's two options: they did quit on him or they didn't.
If they quit on him (for whatever reason) then that explains the performance and we need to address why they quit on him.
The more interesting situation is one (a few, elliptically) have tried to put forward, that the players didn't quit on him. So the theory goes that was the players playing hard and playing their best for Rich, their best resulting in 49 given up on D and 3 scored on O against a formerly 1-3 team. For me personally, this raises many more questions than the quit scenario.
With the quit scenario I can understand the result. The "they didn't quit" scenario raises
TONS of questions.

Hate to be Solomon and Randall going back to pass now or Baker trying to find a hole.

11/05/15 OL Jacob Alsadek Undisclosed is downgraded to expected to miss Saturday vs. USC
11/05/15 RB Nick Wilson Foot is downgraded to expected to miss Saturday vs. USC
11/05/15 WR Tyrell Johnson Hamstring is upgraded to probable Saturday vs. USC

I'm going and it's going to be a blood bath
Is the spread still 17.5? I have never bet against Arizona but that feels like free money betting on USC

Spread is anywhere from 19 to 20.5 at the moment.

So is this gonna be an actual game thread this week or is it gonna turn into another circle jerk of everyone slitting their wrists while listening to the cure?

We'll get in some talk about missed tackles and dropped passes, to be sure. You know, game stuff.

I actually feel the same way. I haven't felt this since the Oregon game at our house 2 years ago. I thought for sure we were going to get boat raced in our own house. It was a miserable rainy day. I had primo seats on the 40 yard line halfway up (because the person who the seats belonged to was sure we were going to be killed too.)
I felt that way walking into the stadium and I feel that way 3 hours before kick off for this game.
And the incredible happened in that game.
Beating USC at USC and securing a bowl birth would be beyond amazing. I can't see another game on our schedule that we win. We aren't supposed to win this one.
Who knows. Ever the optimist. "Maybe..." Such is the Arizona fan.
Maybe the kids dig deep down, decide "F this, we aren't quitting". It's hard to do that because I don't think anyone but Scooby has that kind of pull to bring the team together. And he's AWOL.
In the end, our hearts always get stomped flat. Always.
It's the Arizona fan's destiny.

3 Reasons why I am so negative on this game
1. I think USC is starting to play better football and this win gets them bowl eligible and they are at home
2. Our performance last week looked like John Mackovic was coaching us. Just looked like the team quit.
3. Injuries, we are missing two best LB's, best RB, two best OL....recipe for disaster against a team with the athlete's and size like USC
I am more optimistic about Utah as that seems like the game we typically win, november home game when we are not close to being favored.
Cant go to the game anymore, wife and new born daughter are sick and if I know whats good for me I will watch from home and support them. Feel bad as first time I have ever missed the football team playing at USC or UCLA since graduating in 2003

I don't know what is more depressing..waiting knowing full well I will be watching USC stomp UA again on national tv or watching LSU Bama game and all the athletes we will never see in Tucson. I am now talking my son into looking out of state for school, we should always want something better for our kids, right? At least I still think we have a chance to beat AsSU...I always think we have a chance in that game.
