I don't know why but I was much more confident last year than this year going into this game. Maybe because a loss now means so much more than a loss then. Last year we knew we were bad, real bad. Now we've seen a bit of light at the end of the tunnel but Oregon started to block that and AsSU can totally extinguish it. A loss now would really hurt even though we have the "injuries" excuse. I think we will win. We should win. But I am so scared we'll lose. Arizona 27 ASU 24

So DaMario Mitchell says ASSU will be physical and they know the cats will "tap out". I think it was ASSU who quit last year

I had a good feeling about this game up until the 4th quarter of last weeks UO game. Belknap is definitely out and Bruno/Boles are very questionable. If we end up starting the entire 2nd string DL I don't see us prevailing.

On offense I fear that even Toad Graham will be smart enough to cram 8/9 in the box on every play.......bringing the safeties right
up into the box as did USC/Oregon. RRod needs to counter by spreading the field with 4 receiver sets........but I fear he's too stubborn and we'll see a steady diet of 1 and 2 TE sets the whole game. If asu doesn't run our depleted DL over the game may hinge on the ability of Tate to complete slant passes against the inevitable man to man coverage we are going to see.

ASU should be able to run it down our throats and pass at will since we won't have a DL. We may have to score 60 to win this in regulation.

Yeah, I know it's two different sports but very ironic to have our football frosh stepping up big every game.

Defense playing tough. Two 3-and-outs. They keep this up and improve chances of not hitting wall in second half.
