I don't know of the line is playing better, or if Stanford just doesn't want to blitz Tate. But they are making it easy for our offense to move right now.

Nothing like a little pine time to get your head straight.

Too bad they fizzled in the red zone.

Looks like Stanford needs an even smaller stadium.

The draw call on 3rd down was garbage.

Stanford is second to last in the PAC in the red zone. You wouldn't know it today.

Stanford is last in PAC 12 in red zone production and easily scored there.

A good deal of those statistics were compiled without Costello in the starting lineup.

Of course Costello managed to get healthy for the UA game

2 good plays by the defense....followed by prevent defense rush 3 on third and long.....and gives upt he first down.

Garbage Defense.

Dropping so many into coverage on those third downs longer than 5 yards.

Funny how they can drop into coverage and take away the pass, but our guys can't do that.

We need to realize that its not just coaching...........most of the issue is simply lack of talent.

Fehoko has gotten behind his defender 3 times already (thats just lack of speed at the DB spot)

Until our recruiting gets upgraded it doesn't really matter who's calling the shots.

I'd say that drive illustrates the talent gap between the 2 teams.

Stanford just lined up and ran it down our throats. big gains on almost every running play. just manhandled our d

furd O opened holes so big even I could hobble through them

Fully disagree. No coach get perfect players, it’s the coach job to recruit, coach, and scheme. Sure recruiting at Arizona sucks but when players get beat at every level it’s the coach. CBs rant getting beat by just speed. They can’t press the WR without missing, they bite on various moves, etc. same with the Stanford running game. Stanford is putting two bodies on each lineman pushing them into LB. that’s not on the DL, that on LBs going into the wrong holes or sitting back. Or the bad angles safeties are taking.

It’s like a team that hires a quality special teams coach versus a rookie coach. Good special team coaches don’t need talent to cover up their flaws.

Who would do better. Arizona defense players being coached by Alabama Defense coach or Alabama players being coached by Arizona defense coaches? Look at USC and UCLA, they constantly get best talent but still can’t do anything with it.

Wrong again.......Fehoko just got behind his man for the 4th time today (for a TD)

I suggest you go back and look at PAC12 recruiting rankings over the past 5 years. Its quite telling

I’m not arguing that recruiting doesnt suck.I am disagreeing that coaching means less.

Basically Arizona is badly coached and badly recruiting. Fix bad coaching and you eventually fix bad recruiting.

I can't tell if you're being serious here.

Give our team Alabama defensive players and they'd do much better than Alabama would do with our defensive players.

It's not even close.

There are ample examples of coaches who come in, win with the previous regime's players, and then can't repeat that success.

quality of player is the most important factor.

nobody here is arguing that our coaching is good, by the way
