Same. After years of Tomey's stodgy offense, having a genius offensive mind was really a breath of fresh air. After all, Mackovic was the COY in 3 different conferences, and a former NFL head coach.

Mackovic also made an average QB named Jason Johnson into a then record setting QB.

However, as all we have all learned, never hire a fired head coach, esp one that has been fired multiple times.
