I guess Miller saw the writing on the wall and gave up.
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller

12-18 at the three. Anyone would beat Arizona with, or just about any team in the nation.

10/12 in the second half. Most of those with hands in the face. Just wow. Nothing you can do. No one to blame, really. Just cannot overcome that

I don't mean to be an ass, but he needs to not cry on the court.

I get that he puts his heart and soul into it and we love him for that, but no crying on the court.

i don't think anyone ever expected wisconsin to shoot 10-12 (83%) from three in the second half. that was unbelievable. hats off to them.

There were some coaching mistakes, and like somebody said.. what the heck happened to the drive and kick , drive/ assist ? But that fricking 3 point barrage was just ridiculous. Dammit. I'm going to the gym. Later y'all.

Defense is great, but the college game is structure for offensive firepower.

Miller and the staff need to embrace this concept.

Just a combination of Wisconsin playing their best offensive half of the year and us playing our worst defense in several years. I'm already over it.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

I know, they definitely will.

This is just like Dunleavy in the title game. Wisconsin had two guys get in the zone again tonight and nothing you can do. We have horrible luck it seems like. Wisconsin won the game behind the arc, it was the difference plain and simple. Sucks.

Don't think there's anyone to blame for anything. Totally different game if they miss just 2 or 3 of those 3s.

Dekker is money.... Kaminsky is a fine player, but he's a whiny bitch, Dekker I actually kinda like

This...fuckin dumb luck.

We played great defense for the most part. Step back 3's? C'mon nothing you can do about those.

This.

In the last two elite 8's Wisconsin has shown that Elite offense >> Elite Defense.

Miller needs to raise his game. If Pasternack or Stoudamire land a head coaching gig somewhere Sean would be well served hiring a more senior ex-coach with a good grasp of offense....such as the system Altman runs at Oregon. Unless 2 out of 3 of RHJ/Bash/Tarc return Miller HAS to switch to a 3 guard offense given the personnel he has returning. I don't believe that Comanche is going to be able to contribute at a high level for a few years.

PJC/Simon/Trier/Pitts/Gabe/Allen.............Miller needs to adapt as Lute would have

Did I miss a discussion or thread on this? Why didnt he want them to foul?

I was next to our bench and Miller called our guys off. He must have figured we would get a stop and didn't need to give them any FTs

Really wish we would have pressed the final 5-7 minutes. It worked a couple times and could have been a game changer. Hind sight though...

Had an awesome time either way

It's an interesting discussion, though ultimately it really wouldn't have made a difference, the way Wisconsin was shooting that half. We didn't really do that at ASU either.

It might have been that final detail Miller let get away from him because he was so burnt out on getting the team that far. When you're so used to playing a certain way, being put into a position of desperation is, like with the zone, a point of pride and something you elect not to utilize because it's not your team's game.

The program will eventually get over this hump, but like others, I think we're overdue for some more favorable regional matchups and wouldn't mind seeing what we could do in the East or Midwest.

Dekker got hot because Stanley was out for almost 6 minutes. If only Brandon didn't poke him in the eye...Crazy bad luck
