Why in the world are they interviewing the Providence coach during a timeout?

Yep. Not what was advertised. Not impressed at all. Out of position many times on defense. Offensive game nothing special. On a typical Arizona team, he'd be a 6th or 7th man at most but certainly not a starter.

cats putting out good energy on both ends. Cut those turnovers down next half and our offense may be unstoppable.

Toll had the advantage of playing in the WCC, with his height a major advantage. Give him some time to adjust to a higher level of bball, see how he is January. But agree, he's sucking now.

We'll be fine if we can stop turning the ball over every two seconds.

And Gabe York is just off on everything he tries to do, can't even hold on the ball at this point. Hope he snaps out of it 2nd half.

It's more court awareness and rookie mistakes. Also the team needs to get a feel for each other. This won't happen later in the season.

I guess I should appreciate that the effort level is high on both ends. Defense looks fine, boards are great, get smarter in the 1/2 half and I think we win even if dunn gets 20 in the 2nd

I think tolly has great potential on both ends... do his stupid fouls and etc get worked out soon? Good game for PT for him.

Good point above ^, gotta remember this group of guys is basically playing with each other for the first time. Takes time to develop chemistry and become a team. We did lose 4 starters from last year, and with Tarc hurt now, basically we have 5 entire new starters. Unless you're Kentucky bringing in 7 new 5 stars every year, that's gonna hurt and it shows how many turnovers we have and defensive breakdowns + we got some guys still figuring out their role (Trier, Allen, Tolly).

Would be nice to win this game though to play Michigan St, that would be a good development/benchmark game for us to play.

He has a funky shot. Weird rotation, and doesn't keep his shooting elbow perpendicular like I was taught. Don't think that can be corrected. Miles Simon and Mustafa Shakur were never able to correct their shot which affected their NBA careers.

Here at the game. Gotta say again how awesome it is to watch the Cats so up close! Playing waaaaay better tonight. Crowd is really into it and oretty much all Cat fans. Trier is lost right now. Really ducks. Sean have the death stare as he went to the bench after the bonehead turnover. Wish Risticcwould have got more burn. Loved seeing Chance out there. Parker with that sweet reverse right in front if me. Verrrry competitive game. Yorkcity has got to get a few threes off. Really impressed with Kadeem tonight. He is playing like a man out there so far. Hope we come out with the same fire. Beardown!

Great update CB. Kadeem needs to keep up the pressure and draw a quick foul or two on Dunn!

York shoots from the top of the key. If it doesn't go in it can really hurt. This team isn't smart enough.

That was one of the worst fouls I've seen. He didn't lower his shoulder AT ALL. they are treating him like shaq out there. FOH.

I really don't like the new rules / emphasis.

York is trying to fill the "go to" role guy and he is failing (atm). I'm beginning to see the Cats biggest weakness is they don't have a player who can take over.

I was just thinking the same thing. Anderson is just a junkyard dog player. Best player for Arizona is Tarczzewski, and even he was never the go to guy.

I don't see how this team isn't at its best without Kadeem Allen & Alonzo Trier being a part of the equation. Right now, they're obviously not close to being go-to guys. But York isn't good enough to be our go to guy.

Even though he missed I'm glad Gabe drove inside instead of jacking a 3 like he would've last night.
