Well we can send a great message with a win against arguably the best team in the country with a win today.

No one is talking AZ. Game day spoke of Nova, Zags, UCLA and Duke being title teams. They left a lot of good teams out of the conversation but even on the PAC channel it's all Oregon and UCLA

BTW, Jay Williams on game day is just unwatchable. Just a perfect representative of Duke

Yes, Williams is a giant POS. Took a dig at Miller and hated on any team out west. He like all the other Duke POS can eat a dick

He did pick Trier to be the leading scorer in college basketball today.

great storylines today

1. Trier return and integration - does miller ease him in or ride him in his first game in a crazy road environment? Simmons to the bench or go small?

2. who can control tempo? uptempo game limits our bigs effectiveness particularly Ristic

3.defense wins championships? true for football - we'll learn a great deal today if it applies to P12 bball with UCLA playing that freewheeling style.

Looks like a replay of the "stage"-----la la land----- the Bruins set last year pre-game and halftime.

Today's game will have a presentation to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar "in honor" of his receipt of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Kareem will address the audience at halftime. Magic Johnson said to be at the game. (this all reported in this morning's LATimes).

So, a stage reset to pump the fans and players. It's their "Arizona game". Should be an even greater stage to slap the Bruins, huh? Bear Down!

Will they be able to make it through the traffic to get there?

I know the expectation is just to transition with Trier's return, but I'm picking Arizona with the upset. Hope I'm right.

Not if fans are coming from downtown. The Women's March is huge and started at 9AM. Hope our travel fans stayed West.

I want a shirt like that with Lew Alcindor on it, since that's what I remember him as when he was a Bruin.

No boxing out, no interior D, and poor rebounding. Typical Alford defense.

Agreed. They swallowed the whistle on Ristic's 13 steps in the post. Letting them play this style is good for the game. No need to slow it down with needless whistles

I'm basing it on a shitty stream but it looks like Kobi got fouled on the drive and the no-call lead to Rawle's second.

UCLA is such a horribly coached team. Terrible defense and they just chuck. Luckily they are ungodly shooters. This team would never lose in the right hands
