We're exhausted by all the in-depth analysis about needing to play zone and that we'll lose to any team that zones us

Ristic has been absolutely eaten up inside the past couple weeks.

This would be a good game for Pinder. We need some scrap.

The whole team is *kinda* broken. Guys are having difficulty figuring out their offensive roles and spacing/defensive assignments and spacing/etc.

I hate to say it and perhaps some will disagree with me (hopefully), but (imo) Trier is destroying his first round draftibility, if that first round status ever existed.

I don't think it existed. I think it was a possibility, sure. He's pressing though. Getting upset at his teammates for passing on shots that would pad his assist line, instead of worrying if we will win. He needs to get back to playing team ball. He should understand that his talent will speak for itself whether he's scoring 20 per game or 12 with 6 boards and 3 assists with no turn overs

To elaborate, if so puts up that stat line I just mentioned and the rest of the team plays to their averages for the year, that puts us over the top

One more thing. Can't say enough about Chance tonight. He made some mental errors on defense and a phantom foul and one that should have been a.no call...but all in all good game by the young man. You can tell he's been working on his footwork, and watching/imitating Ristic's game down low

I'm parsing this part out.

The question I would (now) have is has he ever played team ball?

How would we know? Last year's record? Last year's results?

I don't mean this as an attack on him; I'm just wondering how we would know?

Trier is really pissing me off.

Maybe we would've been better had the NCAA killed his season in full.

Seriously

Wow. Killing Trier tonight. The team seems to need more time to gel with Trier. LM needs to push through his wall, and adjust to the scouting. And IMO PJC needs to start. I hoped it would happen tonight but it needs to happen. Give it some time adding Trier.
