I have every confidence Zo will go off in the second half, before all the haters here jump on this nitpicker.

Re: NCAA Tournament Game 1, vs. North Dakota (2016-2017)
There no need to sugar coat it. If we were playing with the force and energy that we did against Oregon and UCLA, we'd be up by 35-40.
We'll win this but it kind of uninspiring to see the guys so lackadaisical and playing Iso ball with no movement.
The second half will hopefully show some life.

Yeah but Trier doesn't read this board so we can take out our weight gain frustrations on him and stuff like that.dcZONAfan wrote:Fuck yall giving Trier shit, is what I say. He needs to be a star for us to go all the way. A couple bad plays, slight hesitation to start the game, and you're jumping down his throat? Unreal

Up by 35 is the most laughable statement on the Internet today, and likely this year.Gladiator Cat wrote:There no need to sugar coat it. If we were playing with the force and energy that we did against Oregon and UCLA, we'd be up by 35-40.

We need to sharpen up the D. This may be ok vs North Dakota, but it is not what we are capable of.

They will have great effort on offense...they have to...but they won't be able to stop our offense. Dusan is already on.

Seriously, we need to tighten the D up and finish this. This game should be over.

I'm impressed with Hooker. He is the only one stopping a complete blowout.

Good on these guys, they have their offensive action down. But they can't stop us and we will take their first war shot. If we win by over 20 the hype about UofA will be bouncing off the walls of the interwebs.

Man sometimes Trier makes some bad decisions that usually look like 'I'm going to go one on three on these guys on the fast break!'

Baldwin is chucking up threes he would never take normally but has nothing to lose and they are going in.

So we need to treat these guys as we would UCLA: every perimeter player can make an open 3.

4 on Baldwin. . .
Re: NCAA Tournament Game 1, vs. North Dakota (2016-2017)
So it's a foul when...
A guy that's like seven inches taller than another guy is going up for a "rebound" (really he's just reaching up and taking the ball because the other guy is so much smaller and not really contesting on the jump), but the smaller guy throws his butt out into the much bigger guy creating contact that makes it...an over the back?
That's a daisy.

I know you guys aren't liking the criticism on Trier, but he needs to wake up. I think the biggest problem is it was too easy in the first half and the Cats aren't playing with a chip on their shoulder. They aren't sharp.

Put Ristic in!! We've collapsed since he went to the bench....
