WE WIN!! WOOO!
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller

We got some breaks and Aggies imploded late in the second half. We just need this to happen in March and we will go the the FF!

GCU fans were generally disinterested spectators but fuck the 10-20 ASU chuds in attendance. Everyone around me was saying the Herm Edwards hire is the best thing to happen to UA this year.

I'm still forming the thoughts on exactly what it was; I might need to watch the game again to see if I saw some of the things I think I saw.

Some of the things were commented on: we can probably just start Lee at the 4 alongside Ayton. Start getting him as much experience as soon as possible.

Some of the other things might show up in some +/- work. I bet there's some real interesting stuff individually and teamwise for certain players.

We had some good stretches of foul-less defense. Considering we barely made any FG's in the final 15 minutes, our FT's were clutch, and not giving them easy FT's was key as well (Ayton foul aside).

Randolph has earned the starting spot, at least until Alkins returns. He is going to continue to improve the more he sees the floor, and will be an important piece tourney time.

We really had a chance to extend the lead a few times and had some great open looks from distance. Trier, Barcello, Ayton and PJC all had open looks from three. Smith was the only player who shot it well (Randolph was 1-2).

And I can't fathom how many uncontested layups we gave up on inbound plays under the basket. Three? Four? I though Miller was going to stroke out.

Do your players watch film? They have physical ability but don't recognize spacing and defense and where they are in relation to the man, the ball and the basket. It's like they don't understand the game of basketball.

The amount of fluctuation my thoughts about Randolph and Akot have gone through this year has been impressive. Hopefully Akot rights the ship, still think he is going to be important.

Watching the replay.

Know the outcome.

Still irritating that espn can't cut to our game on time and I get in on it at 9-4 in the first.

Why does ESPN have alternates if they don't use them when the previous game goes long?

Yes but it doesn't work if you are recording the game cause you won't be home at tip off time. And I'm not going to set me DVR to record espn, espn2, espn news, espn u.
