Akot missed that assignment. But Ristic would've been too slow too.

Damn it.

At least USC lost.

Blaming the refs is cheap. How about:

PJC only playing ball for 10 minutes
Rawle stinking up the court
Miller stubbornly playing behind Dickerson the WHOLE game

The two banked threes, and the one they got when PJC and Pinder collided. That's the game. Refs were horrible on Ayton. Rawle was pretty damn bad tonight

This was a great game in the second half. It was one of the most fun halves to watch all season. It reminds me of the UA/UW games of the past.

These offensive rebounds and unable to get the loose balls just killed Az tonight. Hate playing good D with a block just to have it go directly to an opposing player. It happed a shit load today. USC lost tonight so that's good.

Just absolutely fluke shit. 2 bank in 3's and then that fuckery. Already bad enough you have a 260 pound center that gets rewarded for flopping that last 3 is just icing

Congrats UW. You played the fucking game of your lives. You banked in three pointers. You got every fucking call imaginable and needed a hail mary to win at the buzzer.

I thought we played great down the stretch. Maybe took a few too many threes (Alkins). But overall, played really well. What can you do when you make two clean blocked shots in the final minutes and the ball bounces right to an open player who drains a three.

We'll be fine. Time to go home and get really pumped up for the LA schools. The Pac 12 title is decided this week. At McKale.

Sorry but we haven't been a great team all season.

Our primary issue is still on defense........we have two guards who can't guard and a stiff at the power forward spot.

It's college basketball. On the road. Against a scheme that no other team plays. We'd fucking boat race UW at McKale if there was a return game. Duke lost to a St. John's team riding an 11 game losing streak. And Kansas just lost at home. Again. We're a damn good team. And frankly, this type of game was really good for us against this style. I saw a lot of growth tonight. PJC stepped up and played well in the second half when he could've packed it in. He made plays on offense and forced some turnovers. Needs to bring that every night.

Sure, you could say Akot left his man to rebound, leaving Green open. But the fact remains: Ayton's monster block got rewarded with absurd bad luck.

Quit finding fault and support your team. We almost won that against all odds and all you can do is find fault. Miller Technical changed the whole game, we played good D, shot 50 percent, one point away from three players scoring 20. Two players with double-doubles. Etc. Go fill your glass up. Go root for someone else if that's all you see.

I think we can say we are back to being a final 4 team again. We are better than most teams out there.

We blocked two of their shots in the paint in the final 1:30 and the loose ball scramble ended with two desperation threes for UW. It was their night.

My only complaint was it took us 20 minutes to get our shit together. But that happens in college ball. We were down 14 and stormed back. And then the refs made sure neither team would get the upper hand. Oh, and the fact that we rushed a few three pointers after the comeback and should've stuck to the game plan and pounded it inside.

Why would you front Noah Dickerson with a 7'1" beast like Ayton? All you do is put yourself out of defensive position for rebounding. And then you'd be bitching because we'd be giving up second chance points. Credit Dickerson for making some really tough shots. He also got bailed out 3 or 4 times by the Pac 12's finest.

I'm more upset that Ayton shot a grand total of 3 FTs the entire game. He gets hacked more than any player in the conference.

PJC only played 1/2 of 1/2 well.............fact. Miller didn't even TRY to front a guy that killed us underneath all night........FACT.

I would also like to point out that there is no doubt Arizona leads the nation again this season with opponents banking in three pointers. It really is an amazing thing when you consider how often it happens. We've played 24 games and I'm guessing we've given up a dozen banked threes this season.

And fronting him solves that? And then UW swings the ball from the wing to the high post and suddenly Ayton gets sealed on Dickerson's hip and is out of position for an easy entry pass and definitely out of rebounding position. Keep it up coach.

Uh, NO. In that case Ayton just rolls toward the post and stays in front of Dickerson..............try again, harder next time.

Washington played great in the first half and we played great in the second half. All the luck went to Washington with the home cooking (until Miller called out the refs and got a T). Alton got three fouls in the first 5 minutes of the second half and didn't get his fourth until two minutes to go. Played great defense to the end including the block that fell into the Huskies hands.

I was down on the team first half, but they proved me wrong again. am believing that this team has not even come close to peaking yet. I hope the nation doesn't notice and lets us sneak into the tourney as the underdog.

I want to play Purdue again. Bring on Duke. Going to the final four baby!

That was a great game. Hope you didn't miss it. Because PJC had a turnover and Alkins missed a shot.

Ayton is a beast and Ristic is better than stark ever was and Trier is becoming the finisher we always hoped for.

This loss doesn't even move the needle for me. Doesn't change my expectations for the team.

Elite Eight.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
