It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
Good grief. I don't know who is a worse defender, Trier or Alkins. Totally absent of any concentration on the defensive end.

His 3 point shots are better than his moving runners in the paint. Unless he's gotten to the layup or made a stop jumper he shouldn't be shooting the ball.Alieberman wrote:Rawle passing is what bothers me the most.... also he should never be taking 3s

I feel like Akot get called for a lot of fouls where he plays good defense.

Turnovers are killing us
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
Alkins with an early second foul, which may help us more than USC.

akot that as a rawle-level bad turnover

Rawle don't shoot the rest of the night.

Rawle is nothing if not efficient tonight. A turn and a foul in one play.

I've never seen such gifted athletes who are so unsound fundamentally. Must drive Miller crazy.

Alkins should be a rebounding machine or riding the bench. He is god awful in every other phase of the game.

This zone is giving us fits. We need to be more aggressive

Rawle was more aggressive against it and looks like shit so far.84Cat wrote:This zone is giving us fits. We need to be more aggressive
Trier needs to find more seams for his J.

Killing ourselves with turnovers.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
Your guards should never shoot the ball. It should go into Ristic or Ayton every time.84Cat wrote:Feed Dusan

can't believe coach hasn't taken Rawle out with two fouls
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
Rawls is getting on the defensive glass well. But his decision making is just brutal.

Rawle does have 5 offensive rebounds

Man. This team could use a player like Ray Smith.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
No way would Randolph be worse than Rawle. Wish he got some minutes.

Why is he going to the league? He has no handles, a poor shot, terrible decision making, and can't think of even why he is out there with 2 fouls.Gladiator Cat wrote:Alkins should be a rebounding machine or riding the bench. He is god awful in every other phase of the game.

Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
I am with the people here who feels Rawle has been awful. Bad handles, bad court vision, terrible shooter, bad passing. He can rebound but bad results are happening every time he handles the ball on offense. I would rather see Akot.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 3, vs. USC (2017-2018)
we only have 3 free throws which is kind of crazy. SC has 8
