When it comes to the tournament luck we sure have a horrible knack of running into teams that decide to shoot over 50% from 3.

It's almost like it isn't luck and is instead a pattern....
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

You can't win in this tournament without good guard play. It's so apparent watching this. Just awful.

It’s our defense and lack of rebounding.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that has to be due to our defensive scheme which we won't change under any circumstance.

We're not athletic. Just look at the athleticism of Buffalo's guards compared to ours. PJC is way undersized. Trier has no lateral quickness. His center of gravity is way too high, which is why he's such a bad defender. I'm ready to see our freshmen in the game.

At this point, I am almost rooting for a loss by 20.

Just a Bahamas-level performance, all-around.

Our conference is soft, our team is unintelligent, and our pride, intensity and hustle are nonexistent.

If an embarrassment like this is what it takes to make Arizona and the Pac-12 nationally competitive again, very well.

But you can't be sitting at home and just think status quo is fine here, especially after what UCLA and ASU did.

And we were actually complaining about GONZAGA's seed? GTFO.

Seriously, outside of Ayton I don't see anyone else on this team making an NBA roster.

Maybe a reset next year will do us some good in the long run. Maybe we get back to recruiting hard nosed players who give a ton of effort. Up till this point I cant say it looks like the cats care AT ALL. Maybe they just want the season done and ready to collect some NBA checks.

Yep. I really point to unintelligent. I can't fathom someone like Trier taking as many contested shots as he takes with someone like Ayton on the floor. The entire Buffalo team is focused on Ayton. A team with smart players would know how to take advantage. Our team is only the sum of the parts.

I just don't understand how we are not prepared. We knew Buffalo is going to live and die by the 3. Yet they are manhandling us and getting open looks all night. Just don't get it at all. They clearly prepped for Ayton/Ristic, but we look like we didn't do shit
