If we get Ristic for a few years I could see him better than Tarc.

oy, hate this
You won't like the answer and it has nothing to do with Miller.
Really? Do tell because I always feel it starts and ends with him. And you all know I'm a Miller homer. But after watching how tight Lute's teams played at times I saw him finally "loosen up" and win a 'ship so it's like I've seen this before but I wonder if Miller ever truely "loosens" up
As tired as these guys may be of playing each other, they sure didn't come ready for the intensity to beat any opponent.
And they find that acceptable mentally, it seems, and that's not on Miller. He has enough intensity for five coaches, but he is still only one man. There's too many other voices out there saying one half of basketball is good enough to accomplish all of their college dreams, and I'll just never understand, much less agree with, that mentality.

You're driving at some big issue's. Staying four years sure made a lot of money for Walton, Terry, DStod et al but that's not the world we live in that's for sure. I'll trust Miller to figure it out and get to the final four soon. He def bringing in great talent and in the four year players now with Pitts, Victor and PJC. It's only just begun hopefully.

NBA continuation.
But like POM said, he does have good hands to catch those bullets.

That's what makes him getting stripped down low so much more frustrating.Merkin wrote:NBA continuation.

He seems to have good hands with how many passes he can catch, but when he brings it down, he gets stripped a ton.

Over/Under 25½ games of 70+ points this year?

I went to college with the '97 guys, so I guess you'd say a bit of both.PieceOfMeat wrote:Is this inside knowledge, or conjecture?catgrad97 wrote:He'll loosen up when he has players who approach the game like serious adults. This is an old, old problem not confined to sports. It's a big reason why the Cats still get viewed as soft sometimes. Too many people half-ass their talent.

32+, yesPieceOfMeat wrote:how many games are there in the season again? Also, are you counting NCAA tourney games?NYCat wrote:Over/Under 25½ games of 70+ points this year?
Better line would actually be 20½ now that I think about it.

Ah, I was meaning inside knowledge re: this current group of guys. As in, there's a big problem that is new to this year's team, etc.
Agreed overall, regarding playing attitudes in today's game. But it's not going to change until, at the very least, a 2 year rule gets placed. Hell, even then.
