Team never got their shit together once the shots stopped falling in the first half. Rushed offense, poor half court sets, recipe for disaster.

Just a terrible game.

Can't have Kerr play like this and expect to beat a very good team

I don’t like when our 5 is defending a 3 pointer.
I feel like we are a bit lost on D or CTL has brought back the Claw

UCLA played us physical and got up in our face. We did not handle it well.

Several of our guys just flat fell apart..........like they had a case of the yips.

Kriisa crapped the bed big time. Mathurin looked shaken up. Most of the team just collectively lost their nerve and couldn't make a wide open shot.

Playing at home next thursday against ucla may fix some of this

The officiating had NOTHING to do with this loss tonight.

Benn needs to quit looking for the foul call every time he misses

Kerr doesn't need to work on the cocky part. He's got to work on his all round game. He's been open for floaters, but only briefly. All he does now is pass to low-confidence, cold perimeter shooters.

While they are not calling that a foul but they are consistent. Benn has been hit alot on the body but needs to toughen up in games like this.

Cronin is playing Benn perfectly, chase him off the 3 pt. line and make him drive and handle the ball going to the rim with contact (which is not a strength)

Story of the game pretty much. Your 2 best perimeter players combine for 14.7% shooting? Barf

its all about Juzang tonight...if he gets 25+ Cats are in trouble but all in all its a bad matchup for UCLA
I agree that he’s the key, but 25 might not be enough. Put Dalen on him.

I think we struggle if Tyger out plays Kerr.

it was to be Odogg from the outset. Campbell hit his first two 12 footers and i knew that was a bad sign. Kriisa just didnt have it, i was at the game and he was off a bit, a tad slow and short on his shots. he looked tired to me as the game wore on, mentally and physically. Tubelis is still hurt i will tell you that. he needs to sit until the rematch.

AZ will regroup and Mathurin better get it together. over his last four three average games and a stinker.

i will give the team a mulligan on this one, everyone including Lloyd.

regroup and move on

Go Cats!!

it wasnt but i will say the last 8 mins of the game every time he touched the ball the crowd begged and screamed for him to shoot...even if he got it in Arizona's backcourt after a UCLA make on the inbounds.

it was funny

We're about to find out what Kriisa's made of. Does this toughen him up, or does he not have enough game to back up the 'tude?

Perimeter players are gonna have bad shooting nights. All of them having that at the same time, unlikely. So the Bruin D played a role.

That said, I don't think our inside game picked up any slack. We were getting blocked and missing layups all night. I mean, CK was my biggest disappointment after Kerr.

Well I think if you ask his namesake about cold shooting in big games he can certainly think of one NCAA game where I think he went 2-12.

1988. Was it against Oklahoma?

And that was the UA team that was destroying opponents, much like this team has done.

Yes, OU. He made his first shot, then missed them all except for one at the end when the outcome was already decided. I think I've heard Steve say it haunts him to this day.

Oklahoma and Arizona were the best two teams in the country that year.

Kansas was “very beatable” - in fact, Oklahoma beat Kansas two times that season, even though they were top-5 preseason….

But, “Danny and the Juniors” were destined that year, just like Pac12 fifth-place Arizona in ‘96-‘97.

I think that was the best Arizona team ever.....maybe followed by 1998 when they all came back.
