Plus won the Pac 12.

That was a fantastic season, better than any of us hoped for, going down as one of my favorite teams in Arizona history.

Super bummed that it ended tonight like that.

Happy for the future of this program.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Yeah I don't think a single person is gonna bitch about the refs.

We got beat soundly. Fair and square. Congrats to the Cougars. Shit happens.

Sad the season is over but feel grateful that my winters and springs for the next decade or two (or three) are going to be WAY more entertaining then I ever could have hoped for one year ago.

What would you rather have a Pac 12 championship or a Final Four? There were so many fans who made fun of CSM's Pac championships because he couldn't get over the hump. We will always be a dangerous team, but no one will take us seriously or Gonzaga for that matter if they don't upgrade their toughness and athleticism.

Can you imagine Houston if they hadn’t lost 2 of their best players for the season in December?

I'd like it if we tried to schedule a couple more of these rugged physical, defensive teams in the non conference. We did that with Tennessee but even they are a bit more uptempo.
We need some upgrades and guys who can lead with athleticism and toughness
We were way outmanned at PG. We probably would've been with a healthy Kerr. Not sure. Boswell should help.

I still think we need to work on this style. We're going to have to win one or two of these types of games to cut down the nets. I'd hope we learn to schedule accordingly bc nobody really play that way in the P12.

Got punched in the mouth and never recovered.

Our 3 most athletic guys are more athletic than theirs.
But their 4-8 are head, shoulders, and torso above our 4-8…athletically…

They imposed their will on us and we folded.

Looking forward to the future with CTL at the helm.

Learn from losses. That's not just basketball, that's life. This is a good beginning for Tommy Lloyd and Arizona basketball. We got the L this time, now it's time for some dignity and perspective. Great season. Can't wait for next year. I'm a happy guy who didn't get to skullfuck any more opponents. Oh well. Let's stop whining. We're not TCU.

I'm unbelievably happy with how well we did this season. Yeah it sucks that it's over but those are the brakes, reload and get ready for next season.

What's up with AT? Ever since that last week of the regular season dude has been out of it mentally.
6 minutes into the TCU game and he was looking down at the floor like he was sad.

Gonzaga has been to the finals more than once
Yes, but the game has changed. They almost got beat by UCLA. There's a reason no west coast team has won a natty in 25 years.
Gonzaga was in the finals last year!!!!

I think Tubelis’ off season is key to our near future. He had to be carefully taught.

Shit play. Sampson's players executed at a much higher level. Sometimes you're the hammer, other times you're the nail. Shitty way to end the season, but it will happen to 63 teams total so here is to next year.

His head is not right. I really don't expect him back. Might as well start collecting the Euro paycheck, he will never make it in the NBA playing so soft and can't use his right hand.

Yep. His skill level did not match the intense chaotic energy on the floor last night. Houston's defense had a lot to do with that...credit to them. Disappointing, so he'll have to figure it out going forward.

It is hard to duplicate the game that Arizona saw last night.
It was intense and confusing. Coach Lloyd is an excellent coach, he's great..., however, last night's game plan needs to be improved. Arizona's shooting was not good. 33% field goals 31% 3pts.
Houston shot much better..46% field 45% 3's. This and their defense was the difference.

You don’t win games against really good teams shooting 33%. It happens but hurts more in March Madness because 1 loss and you are gone. Kris’s hurting his ankle and Tubelis just folding down the stretch were the killer. Still I am really happy with the season, with this team that was so fun to watch and with our coach

Then EVERY foul we deliver must be the hardest, most bruising foul, so as to make our opponent think twice about pulling that shit next time!
