I was all over the 18 with Oregon St. I only put $11 on it, but that's about as much as I care to wager on a single game these days.

This one is gonna be ugly my friends. I could see Oregon easily winning by 20+ and as annoying as this years team is I'm kind of hoping it happens. I just can't think of a U of A basketball team I've disliked as much as this one. Even during the dreadful Miller years at least I liked the players and the teams. The season is already over for all practical purposes. A 22-9 or 21-10 regular season finish is my guess, a 4 or 5 seed in the tournament and one and done as usual. Oh and we're playing he eventual Pac 12 Champions today in case you didn't know. I've totally lost interest in this team and quite frankly the coach isn't doing much to restore my confidence.

Oregon team stats. D does not stat that well, and is almost as bad as Arizona in defending the 3 point shot.

Need to keep their 3 point shooting at a reasonable level. Hopefully Lloyd has something up his sleeve regarding the high ball screens instead of "try harder".

Three things I will be watching in the game today:

1) Does CTL let Boswell jack up NBA 3's with no consequences??? One thing I have noticed in Boswells slump is that he has been
taking a number of ill-advised 25 foot NBA range 3 pointers, He wasn't doing that earlier in the year

2) How do we defend N'faly Dante??? If we double him (which is what CTL normally does) and UO starts raining 3's will
CTL QUICKLY get out of his normal scheme??? Against UCLA we doubled Bona and the Ruins rained 3's on us for over
10 minutes before CTL gave up the doubling. We are not playing at home and can't afford that on the road. Ballo
needs to put on his big boy pants and defend his man

3) How do we defend the high ball screen?? Do we "Keep doing what we do" and sag Ballo off the screener (resulting in another
rain of 3's from the perimeter) or does CTL try switching (or hedging when Ballos man is the screener).

Thus far during this slump CTL has been, IMO, quite stubborn in not giving up on his favorite defensive schemes. He needs to show that he can quickly change course when needed. We can't wait until there is 2 minutes left in the game (like we did on Thursday against OSU) to start hedging high ball screens in the event the other team is shooting +50% from 3 point range.

I would limit Bozwell's shot to 15 ft and less until he starts making some shots. No more NBA 3s. We need more accountability especially when on the road
