I really don't think our 3 point D is that bad. Some of these teams have hit death-defying 3 pointers.Merkin wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:31 pm UA 256th in 3 point defense.

I really do want to see Tommy go a little deeper into the bench today… at least in the 1st half

I would think Ballo especially might be gassed… I’d be surprised if Fill doesn’t get some time

CTL is as stubborn as Miller when it comes to lengthening the bench.Alieberman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:53 pm I really do want to see Tommy go a little deeper into the bench today… at least in the 1st half
I'll be surprised (not shocked) if we go 9 deep.
CTL's idea of going deep into the bench will be giving Lewis a few more minutes.

But because of the extra play Thursday + altitude... I predict there will be a Fil AND Murasuskas sighting

Will KJ Simpson (40/50/90 19+ etc) get POY over Love ala Jacques over Zu last year.

Murasuskas would make more sense for tonights game. And like I keep saying, why the Cats became the 1st team ever to lose to a 15th seed twice.dmjcat wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 4:45 pmCTL is as stubborn as Miller when it comes to lengthening the bench.Alieberman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:53 pm I really do want to see Tommy go a little deeper into the bench today… at least in the 1st half

Lloyd's insistence on playing a hurt Kriisa the last 5 minutes v. Princeton when Boswell was playing great and fresh is a mystery I will never know.
Tubelis was also gassed due to the preoccupation of winning the PAC tourney.
I prefer the Lute days, when he purposely tanked the PAC tourney to have fresh legs for the NCAA tourney.
Will anyone ever remember who won the last PAC-12 tournament? But they will remember how UA ended up in the NCAAs.
I recall Lute intentionally losing to Steve Lavin's Bruins since he knew Lavin would be fired, and if UCLA ever had a more likable coach I don't know of it.

Re: (M) Game #24 Arizona at Colorado (2023-2024)
I agree, and Tommy's lack of flexibility could lead to Arizona's third loss to a number 15. Such an embarrassing overall NCAA tournament history for Arizona considering the great players and teams they've had. 97 was a fluke. So many appearances and so little success to show for it. You just know this year will be no different. Just comes with being an Arizona fan I suppose. I have no idea what to expect tonight. I'm sure scrotum head Boyle will have something cooked up. I expect them to play over their heads and hit impossible shots per the norm. I can't stand Colorado fans. They really showed their true colors with all the football team nonsense.Merkin wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 6:18 pmAnd like I keep saying, why the Cats became the 1st team ever to lose to a 15th seed twice.dmjcat wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 4:45 pmCTL is as stubborn as Miller when it comes to lengthening the bench.Alieberman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:53 pm I really do want to see Tommy go a little deeper into the bench today… at least in the 1st half

ASU should be thanking us for their win tonight.

I hope we don't get blown out tonight but I won't be surprised if we do. I can't stand Boyle so I hope we beat them at the buzzer just to break their hearts.

I hope our legs do not look like Utah's in this game especially in the second half.
