KJ Lewis fuckin loves to play UCLA
Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
About the only win the Bruins took over Arizona tonight was educating a lone Arizona fan how conference refs work. Have a good night my man!dmjcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 9:32 pmBullshit. If the 4 new B1G members inform the B1G conference that they would not prefer using Padilla I expect that they won't. And Padilla isn't the only ref out there.MrBug708 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 9:27 pmYes Reallydmjcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:42 pmOh really??'MrBug708 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:17 pmThat's a nice story you painted, but that's not how it works hahadmjcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 7:51 pm
Who are you kidding??? All of these Pac12 refs DESPERATELY want to become B1G refs. The alternative will be reffing WCC/MWC games. The financial hit would be brutal. Personally, I want to play anyone outside of UO/UW/UCLA/USC in the P12 tournament. The thought of future employement will certainly be creeping into the minds of at least some of the P12 refs.......and shading the final games of the P12 towards the future B1G members will be on their mind (to curry favor)
Do you really believe the thought of taking a 6 figure pay cut and reffing games in Cheyenne Wyoming isn't creeping into the thoughts of present P12 refs??? LOL
But I am not surprised. 90% of your fan base doesn't know that a Mafia thug bought and paid for every star that played for Wooden at UCLA. Prior to Sam Gilbert Wooden was a very average coach.
Tony Padilla refs all over the West Coast. He will do B10 games regardless of what happens in this game. He does B12 games. He does MWC games. He does WAC games. He doesn't only work for the P12. Single conference refereeing doesn't really exist anymore.
As I said, nice story you painted, but still a fictional story all the same.
Thats another thing I won't miss. Smug, entitled UCLA bball fans (many of whom are way past Medicare age) still living in the past.

Keep those U of A chants coming!

RJ was excellent tonight
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time
Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
Clinching on UCLA's floor, RJ subbing at the last second... it was all meant to be.

That was fucking beautiful.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Where does Mick find suits that small?
Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
Really wanted to win the conference outright. Everyone played well and Lewis just has UCLA's number.

Man that was brutal. He doesn’t hold back on the criticism of his players does he?
Did take a shot at KJ’s shooting in the beginning but also came back later and praised him as a winner.
Kriisa and Tubelis couldn’t defend was pretty funny too.

There was definitely a dead body wearing a UCLA uniform under the basket. Is there a chalk outline there this morning?

Re: (M) Game #30 Arizona at UCLA (2023-2024)
Mick is correct….we beat them in the half court sets and didn’t have a lot of fast breaks or oops. That’s the type of energy and focus we need to have playing the likes of Princeton in the tourney.EastCoastCat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 10:02 am Man that was brutal. I would ask him then how the fuck did you lose to them in the PAC tourney with a experienced team that had won the PAC by 3 games? Coaching?EastCoastCat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 10:02 am Man that was brutal. He doesn’t hold back on the criticism of his players does he?
