Well that was a huge collapse. Never seen a team let up so much when ahead

Well… Tommy should have their attention at halftime
Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
The usual UA couging it into the half
Love with 2 bad passes
Love with a 27 foot 3 pointer with a man on him
Larsson with the travel
Boswell playing hero ball bringing it up and commiting the foul
Dumb, Dumb, Dumb

Gotta clean up the turnovers - good thing we had a cushion there
Boz is not looking great this game, need everyone else to step up

Same bullshit in first half of season…kill everyone, then get comfortable then collapse.

Seven out of eight of our regular rotation players came to play. One may have spent the night in Wendover.
Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
Goodness gracious...the turnovers. Arghh
Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
The nearest Indian casino is up in Idaho.
Plenty of casinos in Wendover, however.
Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
Need Boswell to get his head out of his ass. Luckily everyone else came to play.

New game, same shit. Never let off the gas until the clock is 0:00, or you have a 20+ point lead with under a minute to go. Should never let a team like Dayton go on a 10-0 run.

Hopefully get some good halftime adjustments from TL - turnovers are difference in first

Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
Play solid. Don't try and force the ball inside which we have a tendency to do at the start of games and after halfs. They have momentum. We started to act like we were invincible with hero passes rather than good fundamental basketball. Second half will be a war. Have to turn the momentum around. If they make an early run we will be in trouble. Back to fundamentals. GO CATS!!!!!!

Re: (M) Game #35 Dayton vs. Arizona (NCAA Tournament Second Round) (2023-2024)
Turnovers and giving up offensive boards are our weakness so far...
Other indicators are positive
Can't really complain - give up a 10-poit run, and still lead by 7 at half...
Other indicators are positive
- more made FT's than they've taken
- same # 3's each team
- we're dominating boards 18-12
- no foul trouble except Boz -

Got too fancy. Play fundamentals and everything is good. Also remember ELEVATION. We always hear about the mountain trip being tougher on the 2nd game. Arizona is used to higher elevation and the better conditioned team. And Dayton's best guys barely rested
