No.

Brutal game all around…
Officials were awful but we had plenty of chances if we could hit shots

Well…I think we needed a good ass whooping to light a fire under our ass. A lot of new pieces, and lots of areas that need improving, but hopefully we can figure that out before March and be relevant.

The outcome could have been different if the foul calls were cut in half.

That being said….Tommy coached a mediocre game and we have some really soft players - the 2 towers, Del Orso and Love

I don't know how anyone can take anything meaningful away in a game where 87 free throws were shot.

True, but we had a good amount of FT too but missed quite a few

Soft players are going to be a problem though

Showed fire coming out at half but couldn't stop fouling. KJ was needed by played about half the game. We need to shore up our outside shooting and if Dell is in there we are a much weaker team.

I think Bradley showed flashes of being tough but then also missed some big FTs and had some bad possessions. Townsend looked good before he hit his knee. The bigs
Need to do more.

Trey and Awaka look very comfortable around the basket. The 2 towers look like scared kids playing against grownups

I hope 6 assists for an entire game is an anomaly this season. That's not a good stat.

Rebounding doesn’t put points on the board. Shooting, in particular 3 point and free throws is where this team was really deficient. Oh, and assists, too.

We played 9. Why didn’t Tommy press the entire game, especially after falling behind early on a hostile court? Trey and Awaka should have touched the ball every possession they were on the court.

Even the Wisconsin fans were complaining about how many fouls were being called. They were apologizing to my kids for the reffing and the 2 1/2 hour game. 🤣
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Every Wiscy fan in my life texted me to say how this was for sure going to be the biggest win of their season.

Oh really Jeff? Thanks for the reminder that your team is going to fuck around the rest of the season and try their hardest to make this a bad loss for us. Appreciate you ruining the rest of my night further.

4-24 3PT will sure hurt the assist numbers. Most of those were good looks too.

In their defense though, passing lanes were clogged by Wiscy’s packline. It wasn’t like guys were open and we were playing hero ball. The only guys who were open were 30 feet from the basket.

I think this team is going to really struggle on the road. Teams are going to pack the paint and let us bomb away. This sure looks like Tommy’s worse perimeter shooting team. I was hoping this was going to be his best defensive team to help balance the poor shooting, but it sure wasn’t looking like that last night. Last night was like a cold bucket of water over the head.

Pushing the ball off of missed shots helped us score some easy buckets without letting their D set. Bradley had a few shots from the FT line extended. We badly need another ball handler to fill that same need. Ultimately, we need guys to push the tempo off of misses or made shots. Zeus was really good at that..getting down court off of made baskets….why can’t either one of the towers do the same?

Hey, they play UCF this weekend so if they lose that game, it's probly good for us, think we play them twice. Nope just once, so it just doesn't hurt us if they lose.

But anyway, just one more reason to hate the badgers.
