Pretty sad watching the 4 OT loss to USC before this game.
I made that mistake, too.

Stupid call! How are you supposed to stop a guy from making a shot when necessary?

Man I don't get these Pac-12 refs. Swallowed their whistles allfirst half , and allowed the game to flow. Then in crunch time, became prima donnas, and made it all about then. I guess I'll take the W, but this reminds me why, when I have the choice, I'm watching NBA.

How do you go for the ball when you are behind a guy a foot taller than you, grab both arms, and pull down on them simultaneously?

You kidding? Did you miss the replay that showed without a doubt he started the play by swiping at the ball with his right hand?

17-2. Hope we can stay with UCLA, but without Trier it's felt like this was our next loss for a long time. Shame we won't have the full team for a chance at a road win vs. a top 5 team. Need Lauri to go HAM Saturday to have a chance.

Yeah, and he missed, then grabbed both arms from behind. If that's not intentional there's no such thing.

It's gotten to the point that I don't want a big lead. I'd rather be neck-and-neck and fighting to win. When you run out the shot clock and stop scoring, you stop defending, and you can't get your offense and defense back again easily.

Yeah giving up 47 in a half is never good. I just don't get how you go from giving up 19 to 47

He also wouldn't let go of that bear hug. Still, the first 30 minutes of the game was "let 'em play," and I bet they'd have let the intentional-1 slide then. Those first 30 minutes were the best officiating I've seen all season. They had to stop when USC got chippy.

to all those going back and forth over my comment about the call being correct. I didn't see the play. I was listening via radio and from what they described, it was the right call. I was just amazed it got called correctly because in late game situations intentional fouls are rarely, if ever, called correctly.

What was with Montgomery end of game? Thought he was going to cry when USC didn't come back.

I know Monty and Lute had a mutual major respect for each other, guess that didn't care over to Miller.

To me it was like the game folding in front of him was all he had, like when I tune into a game where all I have is the possibility of watching an amazing comeback. He didn't seem very familiar with either team. He said some things about Markkanen that reflected expectations other than what Markannen does, and said some things about Allen that sounded like the player from a year ago. Great coach, but now that he's behind a mic, he isn't watching tape like he used to.
