Hate the "and ones". If you have to foul make sure the ball doesn't go in.

These "and one's" -- are these fouls? I'm totally unclear on why fouls are being called on these dunks.

Subtle shove by Rawle on Bell. Weak call IMO and i think it should have been an on the floor call

And another Arizona big collects a foul.

Normally, this would be Pinder time. But my money, unfortunately, has Ristic picking up his third before half.

if brooks gets knocked to the ground like trier just did, that's not only a foul on us, but a flagrant 2

The way this is going these calls were going to be made one way or another.

Do you want them all to have been made on Lauri and Ristic? Or are we somewhat fortunate that some got moved to a roll player?

I wanted them early on Ristic and Comanche, truth be told.

Pinder's a bench role player who was out of his element and cost us at least a bucket. Is this team peaking at the right time? A lot of immaturity evident on the floor tonight.

35-29 at the half, Cats lead. I'll take it, even if we coulda played a little better in some spots, and boy do I really hate these refs.

I'd argue that both Ristic and Commanche have greater value to the team in the 2nd half (especially later in the game) than Pinder does. And I like Pinder. So I'd rather he pick up 3 b.s. quick foul calls if that let's both Ristic and Commanche avoid getting a 3rd call in the 1st half.

I'll take it too, especially if Oregon continues to be off from three (not optimistic).

Fortunately, the bigs do have a considerable amount of fouls to give. Start Lauri at the 5 and Comanche at the 4 the second half.

Im not sure I agree. Oregon is defending their asses off, Lauri has been a nonfactor offensively most of the half and we willed a halftime lead. We could be up more, but this is going to be a grind for both teams

I just hate that we have to argue about starting a player in our conference championship game based on the presumption that our conference's refs are going to screw the player on at least three cheap calls.

This shit really needs to stop. Walton still thinks the Pinder start was because of Boucher's injury, for some reason. It wasn't.

Lauri got the Cats off to a good early start tonight exploiting high-low mismatches. Those won't be there in the second half. Still, he needs to continue to assert himself in the high post and not settle for just jumpers for the Cats to maintain control.

They arent missing wide open looks. Our D deserves a lot of credit that half. Guys like Lauri and Chief are switching on guards and doing a great job. Brooks is working his ass off for those points and will run out of gas if they dont start hitting some contested shots.

That's what I saw. I know Brooks must be very fit and have tons of energy, but that half had to suck a little bit as far as energy expended.

I don't know, I think second-half adrenalin for this game kind of cancels out that presumed expenditure of energy on Brooks' part. We'll see.

Would love see Comanche get his...and more. And the freshmen, Kobi and Rawle, contribute SOMETHING to the stat sheet.

They made the mistake of fronting him early and Altman corrected it real quick. Nothings going to come easy for him tonight, I agree he needs to be hanging out on the interior, pick up the scraps, get a few offensive boards and get their bigs in foul trouble
