I am sick and fucking tired of Miller's unwillingness to make crucial changes such as playing zone.

I am close to done with Miller, don't care, lost my support.

More chance of Arizona using the rare 6 player defense.
I'm willing to try it.

And yes I mean trying to get six guys on the floor.
The sad thing is I dont think it would help. Maybe we can bring back Kadeem or Rondae and give them Dylan Smith's jersey.

They care. But they're paralyzed when they need to flow and they're rushing it when they need to be patient. I think he's got them freaked out.

12 seconds left
Give ball to 2-guard
Dribble until 2 seconds left
Take a bad 3
Even if you get rebound, won't have time for a second shot
Possible top three draft pick? Don't give him ball

Ristic has 2 rebounds. So does Barcello. Please tell me again why we need to play two 7 footers?

No chemistry. These guys don't know how to play together. This is weird considering they had the extra practice time from the Euro trip. Guard play is horrible. There is no one to take control when things break down.

I'd go small and Play:
PJC
Barcello/Randolph
Trier
Lee/Pinder
Ayton

Maybe even just let Akot try to play? Can he be much worse?

Even the broadcaster is saying Ristic can't play with Ayton. He said Pinder would be a better option. Get him out of there!

If this is paralysis, this is the softest team I have ever seen. Its just the wrong group of guys. The three upperclassmen are career defensive liabilities, or close, and none of them have a leadership bone in their bodies. I didnt include Pinder, because he's a guy who should be never getting minutes on an Arizona roster unless we are in severe foul trouble or have multiple injuries. Add the Alkins injury, and a handful of freshmen (and Smith, who plays like one) who were all thrown into prominent roles and dont have real vets to pick up the slack/lead, and here we are.

Ayton is one of the best players in the country. He is the only reason this season has any hope right now.

Excellent summary of our problems. The one and done nature of our program has finally caught up to us......coupled with the lack of a point guard

Then the Packline defense coupled with Miller's recruiting is not a durable combination in the one and done environment when each year we lose 60% of our team and end up with the upperclassmen we have now.

This team is bad, real bad. No chemistry, no flow. Bad shooting. Bad D. Alkins will help but will not turn this into a final 4 team. They are athletic, just not good basketball players. It is such a shame to see that Ayton will waste a year in Tucson..he is a once in a generation player. This, along with the FBI investigation, should turn any half decent recruits away. Miller might have the be let go.

Sorry, but there is no way I would dump Miller that fast.

I do want to see how Miller recruits going forward without Book. Has our past
recruiting been real or did we just $pay$ more than the other guy?
