This is such a low BB IQ team that I believe the Sweet 16 is all we can expect. And even that won't be easy to obtain.

Have we gotten any fouls called when we go inside?

I actually like PJC taking these open looks he's getting, they're just slightly off though.

I know pjc just missed another shot, and his detractors will jump on him for it. but all his shots have at least been good decisions to shoot the ball when he shot it.

just gotta get em to fall

You have to take the shots the defense gives you, and PJC being 2-8 (1-5 3pt) will keep seeing open shots.

Stanford really getting some home cooking today. Refs have really changed this game and taken us out of what we do.

Travis 8-12 for 20 points. Maybe the Cats ought to double him?

Give Haase credit. He abandoned the man to man and went to a zone............and its a nice zone. He is doubling Ayton anytime he touches the ball and he is extending the zone out on Trier. He's basically making AZ beat him with Ristic/PJC/Alkins

Live by Ristic, die by Ristic. They aren't concerned with falling into Ayton's fourth foul, they are going right at Ristic off screens.

I thought he was trying to learn about zone.

Bad combination:

No idea how to attack a zone
Stanford with more athletic guards
Bad matchup for Ayton (T Reid)
Stanford wants it more

Our shots were falling to open the game. We had good ball movement and were aggressive. Now it's a lot of standing around and panicking when the zone swallows up Ayton and Trier. What good is Romar if SEEM doesn't adjust to their defense?

Given Millers history of using the press I predict that we will start pressing with about 40 seconds left in the game.

I agree it was a great start, but since that start, it's been pretty much crap. So at this point I'll take points from any player who can get them right now. Ristic or otherwise.
