Don, this program NEVER starts with that type of intensity. When Miller solves that mental problem in his guys, nobody will beat us.

Appropriately serious approach to the games, yes.

Like 'em or not, UConn gets that.

Zeus less than impressive stats. TJ has some assists but no points.

Guards out rebounding the bigs.

Poor PJC, not even a name!

Miller was telling the truth at his presser. Not hiding anything. Exactly what we're seeing.

The tallest player for CPP is 6'8".

Kaleb Tarczewski is 7'0" with three years in the program. He has 2 points and 3 rebounds.

You really want to know why?

You won't like the answer and it has nothing to do with Miller.

Really? Do tell because I always feel it starts and ends with him. And you all know I'm a Miller homer. But after watching how tight Lute's teams played at times I saw him finally "loosen up" and win a 'ship so it's like I've seen this before but I wonder if Miller ever truely "loosens" up

And still drops the ball below his shoulders.

He is nowhere near a lotto pick, no matter how low the standards for that have dropped. No coincidence Ristic outplayed him in Red-Blue.

These guys may be lotto picks in a warm state but they are not in competitive form at all going into the season. I'll leave it at that for now.

He'll loosen up when he has players who approach the game like serious adults. Loved Kevin Parrom for that reason. Bibby, Simon and Terry had that maturity too.

As tired as these guys may be of playing each other, they sure didn't come ready for the intensity to beat any opponent.

And they find that acceptable mentally, it seems, and that's not on Miller. He has enough intensity for five coaches, but he is still only one man. There's too many other voices out there saying one half of basketball is good enough to accomplish all of their college dreams, and I'll just never understand, much less agree with, that mentality.
